Egypt's Minister Mohammed Ibrahim survives bomb attack
BBC ^ | 9/5/2013 | Unattributed

Egypt's Interior Minister Mohammed Ibrahim has survived a bomb attack that targeted his convoy in Cairo.

Hours later, he appeared unharmed on state TV to denounce the attack as a "cowardly assassination bid".

Security guards and a child were among the injured in the attack, which took place near his home in Nasr City.

No-one has yet claimed responsibility for the attack. Muslim Brotherhood leader Amr Darrag said the group "strongly condemned" what happened.

Mr Ibrahim heads the police force which has carried out a crackdown on Muslim Brotherhood protests in recent weeks.

Nasr City is a stronghold of the Islamist Muslim Brotherhood group.

The explosion took place at about 10:30 local time (08:30 GMT) as Mr Ibrahim was being driven from his home to work.

The minister told state television that his convoy was targeted by a "large" explosive device that might have been detonated by remote control.

Wonder if that is one of the bombs we gave to the Syrian Al Queda Brotherhood?

Chaos reigns in Egypt and Libya, thanks to Obama's foreign policy.

And the GOPe giving him a free hand to do the same in Syria. Insane.

No, one bomb in Egypt is not chaos. The Egyptian Army still looks good here.

Just so you guys know my FR-mail is blocked...so I can’t send because it says I’m too new....and all my posts are being reviewed because I was posting from sites that can’t be posted on FR...or using photos from them. So everything is being reviewed before hand.

I have the list now but posting is a pain with all this reviewing now as the delay is so great before it gets to the thread...and I can’t FR-mail at all.

Though I understand FR’s concern it’s better I just wait until there’s a free-flow again. Meanwhile I’ll have time to make the list to a quick reference on my computer.

Thanks for update, Caww! So sorry to see this interruption. FR does have legitimate concerns. Lawsuits are expensive, time-consuming, and a colossal drain.

That acknowledged, you said: “I have the list now. “ Did someone give you a banned photo list?

Please post this list so we can all benefit from your mistake so that all of us can also “make the list to a quick reference on my computer.”

Huge list is it not!....so wonder I go to foreign news so often...our own media wants to sue everyone!

The list isn’t complete yet...the columns shifted from right to left...so I’m working at why my copy is fine but when posted it shifts? Must be some Freeper code I need to learn so I got the word out on that...work in Progress.. but I’ll get it...

Also have to run it by the Administrator to make sure I have it all...there’s some gal from World Net Daily we can’t post...but I’ll add that once I get the right left thingy worked out...as far as I’m concerned if they have someone on their staff who gave FR/Jim a hard time...well I won’t be posting any of Daily’s stuff...and don’t think I have anyway..lol.

I have always accepted the fair use doctrine. This includes the entire spectrum of politics. Those that would limit it are the occupation and not American. There is no room for them in a future liberated America.

Thanks for your hard work. The paper trail is a dynamic one.
