Academy Award-winning actor Robert De Niro is the kind of Hollywood sycophant Democrats adore.
In an interview published in September's Du Jour, De Niro said of Barack Obama, "He's a good person, period...he represents, I think, the best of the type of people that I would like to see running the government."

Yes, always. I wouldn’t exactly call it stupid - he was born and raised in Greenwich Village to bohemian artist parents, and he never learned to think outside his programming. He’s like a fourteen year old.

Hey, DeNiro.
Obama doesn’t write his lines either; he just reads ‘em too.
And he’s about as bright as you (though he had the Affirmative Action bump)

He was once a good actor then I saw him in “Cape Fear”.
He is no Robert Mitchum.

I don’t expect, or care, to hear the political views of plumbers or house painters when I pay them for a service any more than I care to hear the political views of entertainers who want me to pay to see them in a movie or to listen to their music.
We all know entertainers may hold political, cultural or social views different than ours but as long as they keep it seperate from their work I can accept it.
But when they put it right out front it becomes a distraction.
Once an entertainer crosses that line I just cannot enjoy their work anymore.

I don’t think it was De Niro who played the devil, but Pacino—but I could be wrong! LOL

Personally, I could care less what a high school dropout has to say about politics...or anything else.

Maybe DeNiro was exhibiting some very dry humor.

This is what I would expect from someone that pretends to be
someone he is not. Kinda like Obama.
Says words that someone writes for him. Kinda like Obama.
Does exactly what someone tells him. Kinda like Obama
Wears makeup to make him look like something he is not. Kinda like Obama.
Yep. this just what I would expect from an actor.

When I think of DeNiro, I think of that stone cold Sam Rothstein in Casino. The guy with the steely cold stare and rock solid inner toughness that no one could, or would, dare try to penetrate. I always thought the real guy would be somewhat like that. I'm embarrassed to know he is such a weak man inside that he would fall for the community agitator's racist street jive.

People confuse successful actors with intelligence. There is a small number of them (Reagan, Stewart, Heston, etc.) and the rest just think their large bank account makes them smart.

His daddy was a bisexual....I’m sure that did a number on him growing up.

I always wondered how DeNiro was able to play psychopathic degenerates so convincingly.
Truth be told he was not acting, he was just being himself.
