Secretary of State John Kerry said at Wednesday’s hearing that Arab counties have offered to pay for the entirety of unseating President Bashar al-Assad if the United States took the lead militarily.
“With respect to Arab countries offering to bear costs and to assess, the answer is profoundly yes,” Kerry said. “They have. That offer is on the table.”
Asked by Rep. Ileana Ros-Lehtinen (R-Fla.) about how much those countries would contribute, Kerry said they have offered to pay for all of a full invasion.

How does the US military feel about being the Arabs mercenaries?
I don’t like it.
In fact, if the Arabs want to pay they can damn well fight themselves.

I could support an invasion if we are going to turn the country into a Christian nation, ban Islam and make it a territory of the United States.

Most of the Arab countries do not support this. Who is he talking about? And since when is our military a mercenary force?
And I’m sure those arab countries are just delighted as pie that John F’n Kerry told the world what they offered. I’m sure it won’t be too hard for whoever is supporting Assad to figure out who these nations are and put the heat on them.

Sooooo! Our troops would become mercenaries?? Maybe Assad will pay us more to fight for Syria. Let’s do some horse trading here and see how much we can get out this - maybe pay down the national debt. Whoooeee!

We should be getting tribute from them now. Without us they would already be dead and gone. Saddam and Iran would have divided them up.
The idea of sending our soldiers,sailors and airmen off to fight as mercenaries has got to be one of the most evil things that I have ever heard coming out of a CommieRedLiberalRAT ever. We should never forget who said it and why.
They would sacrifice our people to save the reputation of a failed President on the pretext that we were being paid to do it.
Anyone who votes for this war should be strapped to one of the missiles.
