Democratic Congresswoman Eleanor Holmes Norton said Tuesday that at the current time, the only reason she would vote in favor of an attack on Syria was out of loyalty to Barack Obama.

Appearing on radio's Bill Press Show, the non-voting delegate from the District of Columbia also said if the President actually gets the votes he needs, "it’ll be because of loyalty of Democrats. They just don’t want to see him shamed and humiliated on the national stage"

Too many in our government who are self-serving like Ms. Norton....this is the ultimate tragedy for a nation...Obama has already disgraced himself to the nation and to the world as one of the weakest leaders in history as well as the most self-serving POTUS.

I received an email from MoveOn.Org on Saturday, after Obama’s announcement that he was requesting Congressional approval. The email included a video about Syria and the petition was a plea to Obama to not return violence with violence. I didn’t watch it immediately.

Yesterday, I began to wonder if MoveOn was going to go against Obama and decided to click on the video . What happened was that the video was short circuited. I could only watch the introduction and half of the first speaker. Next to the video was a statement that the petition now states that MoveOn opposes military action unless Obama wins the support of Congress. The flip flop was a dead give away to their position.

But what about for the children? What about for the oppressed and disenfranchised women and minorities? Aren’t you supposed to care about them first and foremost above all else, Ms. Holmes? Guess not, even though your party supposedly commands you to do so without question.

Nothing like the race card to get a free pass from judging a person based on color instead of character...the real racists are the ones who won’t look at the character (that is substitute policy/beliefs for character), but only the color and gave free pass based on that.
