On her Friday MSNBC program, host Andrea Mitchell tried to ease the concerns of Democratic Congresswoman Barbara Lee and other members of Congress calling for a congressional vote on military action in Syria: "Barack Obama, as you know better than I do, was one of the leading Democratic politicians against the Iraq War. So if he says that this is different, that the evidence is there....does that persuade you since he has always come at this from a very cautious anti-war perspective?" [Listen to the audio]
Accepting the odd juxtaposition of the President launching missile strikes from an "anti-war perspective," Lee responded: "And I'm very pleased that the President has come at this in a very cautious manner....But also that has nothing to do with our constitutional responsibility as members of Congress, Andrea."

An anti-war bombing - what an oxymoron. (Coming from a moron, what should we expect?)

This is how it must have felt to my grandfather, after The Great War, the world turned upside down, irony in toxic doses.

Just remember, Japan thought Pearl Harbor was only going to be a “limited strike”.

When you are killed by a Democrat bomb, you die happier.
You know, the Democrats have to pay these journalists a ton of money to get them to say stupid s**t like this.

Does anybody besides me see giant red flags going up when the Saudis encourage us to bomb the Middle East?

And the generals of “The Great War” also thought it was going to be a short “splendid little war” as well.
