CIA finds 1 in 5 flagged job applicants hail from Hamas, Hezbollah, al Qaeda

An estimated one-fifth of a subset of all applicants for Central Intelligence Agency positions had significant ties to the terror groups Hamas, Hezbollah and al Qaeda, a newly released document from the Edward Snowden collection revealed Monday.

The document — released by Mr. Snowden as part of his National Security Agency intelligence dump — said the terrorist groups worked hard to infiltrate America’s top security agencies. CIA officials uncovered thousands of applicants, roughly one in five of a subset, with “significant terrorist and/or hostile intelligence connections,” the document states, as Ynet News reported.

The specifics of those ties were not revealed, but the groups most often cited as attempting to infiltrate the U.S. intelligence network were al Qaeda, Hamas and Hezbollah.

The NSA, in response, launched investigations into 4,000 instances of suspected abnormal staff activity, Ynet News said. Those investigations included the tracking of employee keystrokes on agency computers and the recording of document downloads.

Americans want to know:

Is even ONE of the other four considered?

Makes sense, isn’t the CIA head Brennan a moslem?

Brennan, Barry, and Huma would never allow this to happen!

They all had glowing letters of recommendation from Barack Obama or Eric Holder.

Don't believe it. Don't believe for a second that it took a lot of work..

In the land of PC idiocy? I'll bet Homeland has more radical Muslim employees in key positions than right wingers... Same for the CIA and FBI...

The other four were from the same place and hired. (:

The other hirees were from places like China and Russia.

And the rest, just run of the mill anti-American way leftists.

This is important information from Edward Snowden. I have mixed feelings on his actions, but the American people deserve to know this. I would like to hear some patriotic senators and Congresscritters shouting from the rooftops about this. We are living in dangerous times indeed.

“In other words, there are some that got through.”

Exactly. Also, if I was going to try to infiltrate an organization like this, I would inundate them with somewhat easily flagged applicants - to occupy them and give them a false sense of security in their ability to prevent infiltration - while at the same time make other attempts that were much more difficult to detect. If any of us can think of these things on a Sunday morning just sitting at the computer, you know our enemies have thought of and likely implemented such approaches.

America is in true peril with a Muslim president and an Islamic convert as Director of CIA.
God help this country.
Congress won’t.
