As Kathleen Fox with The Paducah Sun reported, an art teacher at a Kentucky High School set up an exhibit where students were supposed to stand on an American flag while they wrote how they felt about it. Art teacher Shand Stamper at McCracken High School in Paducah set a music stand with paper to write on on top of the flag so that students could contemplate their feelings and then note them.
Michael Ceglinski, the principal, stated that Stamper had erred, and continued that the display had not received approval by the administrators or the school.

If someone stepped on a rainbow flag, that would be called a hate crime.
I want to stand on the 0bama flag!
Same curriculum, different icon.
Only in college, they tried to pass it off as an under-graduate lesson in critical thinking.
What's their excuse with high schoolers?
And a bonus question: is this evidence of a larger movement to manipulate the way our children see the world, or just an isolated coincidence?

How about the class standing on the art teacher and ask him to write how he feels about it.

Sorry-posted before I saw your “warning”.
Why is Rense bad?
How about they stomp on the Koran instead??
If it had been a Koran the teacher would not have been said to have “erred” but would be fired immediately with possible hate crimes charges following.
It happens in every school in one form or another. The kids are all brainwashed on purpose
It must be nice to be a liberal principal or superintendent, and let a teacher do the dirty work you cannot personally do, and then, if it goes badly, claim ignorance and publicly penalize the subordinate - but then back in your office share a drink with them and pat them on the back and say “i had to do that for the cameras”...
Imagine—it was a large picture of MLK? (never happen) or a picture of Mohammed? (Never happen) or a picture of Obama? When the big war comes —and come it will-— all these folks will be come so patriotic.
Technically that would be “going Kersey”
