Appearing on Meet The Press on Sunday, Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY) slammed Secretary of State John Kerry on his willingness to intervene militarily in Syria by twisting his most famous words against him.
"I would ask John Kerry, How can you ask a man to be the first one to die for a mistake?" Paul said, in reference to Kerry's famous words against the Vietnam War to the Senate Foreign Relations Committee in 1971.

Is there a politician out there that puts ethics and the interests of American citizens first? Let me know when you find them. Most are basically corrupt traitors to Americans, but loyalists to those interests who pay to elect them. I’m fairly cynical of the system and those in it.

I think if Freepers could get themselves behind Mitt freaking Romney last year, then regardless of their objections to his opinions on gov’t involvement in any other issue, then, theoretically, they should have no problem swarming around him if he runs in 2016. And I suspect many Freepers, regardless of that they think now, will be out campaigning for the guy if he does decide to run.
