I was fortunate to get to visit the west wing back in 2008, and at that time, the Norman Rockwell ‘Statue of Liberty’ painting hanging in the background was in the next room, around the corner thru the door from where smiling Joe is sitting. Anyway, I took a moment to look at it and was told it was a gift of Steven Spielberg and when the Clinton’s left the white house, Hillary tried to take that painting with them claiming it was a personal gift, the office of accounting (or something like that) prevented her theft,
I agree, and at the very least, there is grit on the bottom of the shoe. On the desk it becomes sand-paper with upwards of 150 pounds of pressure behind it.
It reminds me of that camera shot of Trayvon's father standing close to three other adult black male pals who were all making different gang signals with their fingers for the benefit of the photo.

When zawahri wanted to give an order to his jihadis, he posed with his weapon and published the image. The order depended on which side it was on and where it was facing, the position of his hands and fingers on or off, what accessories were attached or removed, whether the muzzle was pointed up or down...you get it.
This looks very much like those images...a message to those who can read them when WE can’t. Like speaking English to us and arab to muslims.
He is pi$$ed at Britain. He is pi$$ed at us. This is a message and it could be to muslims overseas or possibly to his black troops here. Watch and see what happens after this image circulates. It’s an ‘official’ image so it will be seen worldwide.

Not very classy, but I have seen photos of several past presidents with their feet on the desk- I know I have seen pictures of President Johnson and President Bush doing it. Not sure why any of them would do it, but he is not alone.
We should be able to suspend him for that.
