I’m waiting for a leader who is smart enough to take advantage of all the disgruntled voters who have had it with both parties. Wars all over the place, America acting as the world’s police force, crony capitalism, immigration amnesty, gun control, etc., even cramming the social issues down everyone’s throats rather than letting voters in individual states make their own decision, these are all issues that clear majorities of Americans are concerned about. The left, frankly, has pushed too hard too fast, and Americans are sick of it. They’re also sick of Republicans who do the exact opposite of what they’re elected to do.
There are large percentages on both the left and right who are sick and tired of the status quo in DC and want real, fundamental change. Contrary to what the media sycophants say, most Americans don’t really want all these edicts from the idiots in DC. Most voters, I think, I tired of both Republicans and Democrats.
This is an excellent opportunity for a return to federalism. If California wants to create a socialist “paradise,” let them try. If other states want to open up the free market, then they should have the right to try, too. There are many issues that both the left and right can come together on, or at least reach a reasonable compromise that does not involve more edicts from DC.
Liberals know that federalism works. That’s why there’s a ton of federal laws so EVERYBODY can suffer. They know that people can simply move when taxes and other liberal policies destroy a state.
I want a like button for this!!
Waiting for superman is not a liberty saving strategy.
If federalism is the means to restore liberty, it can only happen if we push our states to amend the constitution. Mark Levin has some great ideas.
