President Barack Obama referred to the country's troops as "my military" in Friday remarks about how the United States may respond to the alleged use of chemical weapons by the Assad regime in Syria that Obama asserted violated international norms.
"Now, I have not made a final decision about various actions that might be taken to help enforce that norm," Obama said. "But as I've already said, I have had my military and our team look at a wide range of options. We have consulted with allies. We've consulted with Congress. We have been in conversations with all the interested parties."
Obama also said he was not "considering any kind of military action that would involve boots on the ground, that would involve a long-term campaign," but he acknowledged, "we are looking at the possibility of a limited, narrow act that would help make sure that not only Syria but others around the world understands that the international community cares about maintaining this chemical weapons ban and norm."(continued)

We are NOT a Constitutional Democracy!!!!! We are a Constitutional Republic, NOT a democracy of any kind. For the very reason that is going on in our country right now. It is deliberately being turned into a Democracy, devoid a constitution!
Every time I hear one of our Congress people refer to us as a Democracy I want to scream! I have grown to expect it from the media, but Congress needs to get it act together and FAST!
I wish everyone in the military would call in sick for a week or more till we replace this ....

Congress comes back September 9. I suspect that BO is going to ask Boner and The Dim Bulb From Searchlight to vote on authorization for military action against Syria first, then, win or lose, he’ll attack on September 11 so nobody will bother to note that it’s the anniversary of Benghazi.
Assad killing Syrian children is an atrocity, so Hussein is going to punish him by killing Syrian children.
Obama can’t wait to kill some kids to show the world he’s tough.
Sure he did — he registered for Secret Service as Harrison J. Bounel.
He’s continually speaking in terms of “The International Community” rather than representing Americans ....as if he’s the speaker for the world......But it’s “OUR” men and woman he puts in arms way...not the worlds!
“His” military has been telling him that they have the ability to strike, but have serious misgivings about why they should strike.
That does sound like a king, or an African dictator.
Considering his upbringing he probably believes that this country’s assets are his personal property to play with as he sees fit.
