It wouldn’t surprise me a bit if Liz Cheney ASKED her lesbian sister to “denounce” her position publicly so it will help her with conservative voters in WY and boost her conservative credentials: ‘She MUST sincerely oppose gay marriage and the gay agenda if her lesbian sister is bashing her! What courage to stand up for her convictions after family pressure! This PROVES she’s a TRUE conservative!!”
Fortunately, conservatives don’t seem to be failing for that trick.
Seems pretty obvious to me, I mean what else could her motive be? Help Mike Enzi who is to Liz’s right on the issue? Lol. Trying to paint her sister as anti-gay only helps Liz in the primary and would in the general election too.
Typical politics, I’ll compare it to an old race, in 2006 liberal democrat and gay activist Ron Gunzburger (who runs the excellent poltiics1.com which lists candidates for every statewide and congressional race) insisted that his friend, closeted gay RINO (at the time) Charlie Crist was a steadfast conservative, it wasn’t because he wanted Crist to lose the primary to Bill McCollum!
Excuse that’s Tom Gallagher that was Crist’s 2006 primary opponent.
