Dana Loesch is a well-known conservative writer and thinker. Her fame comes about in part because, aside from being one heck of a smart gal and a good writer, she’s also extremely beautiful. Perhaps that beauty is what drove a Progressive Huffington Post contributor to abandon his political argument with her on Twitter and simply threaten her with anal rape.
Loesch is a chronic irritant to Progressives. She’s a pro-gun conservative who looks like a fashion model and who can communicate her conservative ideas clearly and accessibly. Apparently Pascal Robert, who blogs and contributes his writing to the Huffington Post simply couldn’t cope with a rather heated political discussion about gun rights that Loesch was having on Twitter.
Rather than backing out of an argument he apparently couldn’t win, Robert resorted to an ugly rape threat: (see article for the graphic language)
Loesch wasn’t intimated. Instead, she shot back a Tweet explaining that Robert’s threat was “Exhibit A” for the argument that women should be allowed to carry guns:

It’s worth emphasizing that Robert isn’t just some random crackpot. He’s a Huffington Post crack pot, who contributes (free) articles to HuffPo that the latter regularly runs. On his HuffPo author page, he explains that he is “A Blogger who loves all things politics. SHEER political independent; unafraid to slay the most sacred cows of ideological orthodoxy from the Left, or the Right and one who enjoys global affairs and aspects of pop culture. In all ways he is a child of the Haitian Revolution.” As a writer, he boasts that “Since 2007 he has been recognized for his hard hitting, blunt unvarnished style of bringing attention to current events and global affairs, especially those affecting communities of color.”
Well, you certainly can’t get any more hard-hitting and blunt than to end a verbal argument you can’t win by threatening to anally rape your opponent.

Not surprising to me. The Huff Post banned me after one post. The post was moderate, bland even on a non controversial subject but they looked up my Facebook profile to see my political views and the next time I was banned.

Of course the irony is that, if convicted for the threat, it just might happen to him while incarcerated. The question is: “do the gods of karmic justice have a sense of humor?”

I believe the context is that the Haitian revolution resulted in the freedom of slaves before it was hijacked by leftist policies that resulted in horrific poverty and dysfunction in the nation.
The Haitian revolution is a good historical study in what happens when something good (freedom from slavery) is hijacked by Marxists.
I think her comment showed a good understanding of history and it was well-played. The left will suggest it was racism.

Yes, exactly. The left would argue the point but the truth is that conservative America has been very polite in response to the cultural shift that has inspired so many acts of violence against otherwise peaceable people. We have protested, but done so respectfully. There is a limit to tolerance and patience and those limits have been reached.
The idiom of “poke the bear” is that of tempting fate. One can tempt fate - often many times, but fate carries its own natural balance. There will come a time - in the very near future I suspect - when there will be a vast reckoning.
