"If we must have an enemy at the head of Government, let it be one whom we can oppose, and for whom we are not responsible, who will not involve our party in the disgrace of his foolish and bad measures." - Alexander Hamilton |
|
"We don't intend to turn the Republican Party over to the traitors in the battle just ended. We will have no more of those candidates who are pledged to the same goals as our opposition and who seek our support. Turning the Party over to the so-called moderates wouldnt make any sense at all." -- President Ronald Reagan |

"A thing moderately good is not so good as it ought to be. Moderation in temper is always a virtue; but moderation in principle is always a vice." - Thomas Paine 1792 |
|
"It does not take a majority to prevail, but rather an irate, tireless minority, keen on setting brushfires of freedom in the minds of men." - Samuel Adams |
|
"If ye love wealth better than liberty, the tranquility of servitude better than the animating contest of freedom, go home from us in peace. We ask not your counsels or your arms. Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you. May your chains set lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that you were our countrymen." - Samuel Adams |

Ted Cruz is one of us...”We The People” and we are at odds with the Rino’s, and Cruz is doing what needs to be done, so sad he stands almost alone among his peers.

Out with the old in with the new. I’m not sure if any pre tea party Senators are worthy of keeping.

I heard Ted Cruz on Rush the other day. He is articulate and, unlike his liberal counterparts, doesn’t use talking points, clichés and generalities when defending his positions. He’s a breath of fresh air in the stagnant environment of Washington politics.

” Ted Cruz is a tireless fighter and strong national voice for conservative ideas and were proud to have him fighting on behalf of the NRSC, said Brad Dayspring, spokesman for the NRSC.”
This was clearly said through gritted teeth and with a shiv held along Brad’s thigh.

It’s the incumbants that are the problem in the first place.

Cruz Backing Incumbents Through His PAC Despite a pledge to steer clear of endorsing incumbents, Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) has financially backed a handful of Senate Republicans through his PAC, including Sen. John Cornyn (R-TX), whose campaign Cruz said that he would not endorse, the Washington Post reports.
Cruz's leadership PAC, Jobs Growth and Freedom Fund, "made only five donations in the first six months of its existence, and all of those dollars went to incumbents."

appears to put him at odds with the campaign committees practice of supporting incumbent Senators.
Nobody should be treated like an incumbent and somehow deserving of another win, not after the con job the GOP incumbents have been running on us. Every election, incumbent Republicans should prove to Conservatives why they deserve our vote, instead of simply saying "but I'm the incumbent, vote for me!"
