We are both strong conservatives so we are on the same side.

We both agree that Cruz is an outstanding person and would make an excellent President.

We both agree that if Cruz is the nominee, we will support him to the hilt.

We both agree that losing is not an option.

However, even though we do not agree that Cruz is a NBC, for pragmatic reasons, I have come to your side. This is why I will support Cruz.

Just like the founders avoided making slavery a big issue prior and during the adoption of the constitution, for the good of our country we must follow their example and do the same with the eligibility issue.

At this point, debating eligibility is not going to change any minds. So let us use our energy to convince constitutional purest to help us save the country by supporting whoever is the most conservative candidate and suspend the NBC debate ..... for now.

IMHO, our government has been corrupted by the left and is just too dysfunctional and broken to properly deal with with the NBC issue now.

If we elect a true conservative we can begin to clean this mess up, repair the government and then deal with issues like eligibility, Illegal immigration etc Let us focus on electing true conservatives before it is too late.

Ronald Reagan’s 1980 successful campaign for presidency began in earnest in 1974. It took 6 years of dedication and hard work by basically grass roots people to get him past the GOP roadblocks and to secure the nomination and the presidency.

We have about 3 years to do what it took Ronald Reagan to do in 6 years. Either we all gather under one banner or we will be scattered abroad.

It is long past time where we need to choose our Ronald Reagan for 2016. If it isn’t going to be Ted Cruz, then we’d better find somebody in a hurry. Ted is the smartest guy in Washington. He is everything we could ask for in his political viewpoint and he will destroy any liberal candidate in a one on one debate. He has not cowered before the MSM and he has managed to avoid being destroyed by the slanders of the MSM.

I don’t see anyone else on the horizon that is even in the same league with Cruz on enunciating conservative principles confidently and powerfully.

He, in many ways is the reflection of our founders.

I am glad we are one the same page. Clearly now is not the time to quibble over some esoteric interpretation of an archaic expression in the Founding document when the principles of that founding document are under daily assault.

Maybe Ted Cruz is not the right guy for this time. Maybe I’m wrong about his leadership qualities and maybe there is someone out there who is more equipped to lead us into the future. Maybe, but we don’t have a lot of time to find him or her. Early voting starts 3 years from today. We are already three years behind the curve.

If anyone thinks Ted Cruz is not the man for the Job, then tell us who is and why he or she is better equipped for that job.

I don’t want to hear the excuse “Ted Cruz would make a great president, but....” No buts. Either we find our Reagan now or we can look towards a Future under Tyranny.

Thank you for your words above. They stand out and remind me of one of our likely realities:
If ultimately the choice boils down to a far left liberal who is technically constitutionally eligible like Hillary OR Ted Cruz who you and I agree is not a NBC…”

The important issue on this thread can be summarized as, “How are patriots in the very near term to effectively resist an advancing world-class effort designed and coordinated to “fundamentally” change America’s culture and institutions?” (see our current government, military, schools, ghettos, etc.)

Most of us still bristle at the thought of how easy it was for a Marxist to sidestep the requirements of qualifying for the highest office in the land; one who initially gave us the finger and then later produced patently fabricated documents that elsewhere would immediately raise criminal issues

Some of us eventually came to hope that our state and federal Republican leaders actually were paying attention. That they believed it better an amateur be given the office - rather than risk national security with an extremely coarse, “good little Marxist”, Hillary “WTF” Clinton.

If, and perhaps only when, our choice becomes between the two, one could argue it is clearly time to set aside the niceties and even the logic of our views and acknowledge that the Constitution faces a serious struggle. That will be the point when we call in the air strike on our position in order to survive.

Then, if we do so successfully, one of the first items of business should be to resolve the NBC issue. That should not be difficult.
1. Even CNN gets it right and discerns a "foreign" element when it states: The entire purpose of the “natural born Citizen” clause in the Constitution was to guard against aristocracy setting up shop in America and taking over.
2. Nothing in any of the Acts, holdings, records or writings I have seen expressly provides the child of a foreign citizen is a NBC in the context of the Constitution.
