The U.S is confident that Syria was behind the deadly chemical weapons attack after intercepting a phone call from a Syrian defence chief demanding an explanation from its chemical weapon military unit for the action, according to new claims.
Just hours after the attack last Wednesday an official at the Syrian Ministry of Defense exchanged panicked phone calls with a leader of the unit, demanding answers, according to website Foreign Policy.
The phone call was intercepted by U.S spies according to the website, and is now the reason that America is confident that it was carried out by the regime.
The US and its allies are gearing up for a probable military strike against Syria that could come within days and would be the most aggressive action by Western powers in the Middle Eastern nation's two-and-a-half-year civil war.

McCain again ...
McCain to Fox & Friends: Why Is Obama Telling Assad Whats Going to be Attacked?
EXCERPT
McCain began by saying that the White House made a mistake in not pursuing a punitive strategy with Syria after they first used chemical weapons when Obama had declared that a red line for the United States. He crossed that red line and I think he was then encouraged to do more since he was not held to account for his previous breaches, McCain said of Assad.
He went on to criticize the president for broadcasting his military strategy via leaks in the press.
All of these leaks, when strikes are going to take place, whats going to be used, McCain said with exasperation. If I were Bashar al-Assad, I think I would declare tomorrow a snow day and keep everything from work.
This is crazy, McCain added. These leaks are just crazy.
Asked about some of the Islamist elements in the Syrian opposition, McCain agreed that the rebels did have some extremist elements. However, he pressed back strongly against the suggestion that Syrias rebel forces were linked with Al Qaeda.
Look, I met these people, McCain said. I went into Syria. I know general [Salem] Idris. Hes not a radical, nor are the people that work for him.
McCain concluded by saying that he believed that the War Powers Act was murky on whether the president needs to seeks Congressional consent to strike Syria. He said, however, that Obama should be consulting with Congress before taking action.
It could also mean that MB has infiltrated the Syrian military
Right up there with the AQ conference call and the Benghazi video. : o /
The phone call as reported doesn’t show that anyone in Assad’s regime carried out the attack.
He needs a big war. He is setting up the Islamic anti christ...I believe. Don’t think Obama realizes this, but the bible prophecies are all coming to pass and Damascus will be glass soon.
Yep. Makes sense that they infiltrated that part of Assad’s military in order to carry out the strike that we’re using as a pretext to start to deliver Syria to the MB/Al-Qaeda.
We already have the leaked emails referring to a false flag attack being our plan, then we’ve got the UN bizarrely going in to confirm that chemical weapons were used—but not to identify who was responsible for the attack. Finally, we’ve got the Obama/MB administration declaring Assad unquestionably responsible as their justification for direct military involvement.
Putin I think is correct about that monkey with a hand grenade.
The FIRST use of chem weapons is a huge commitment. Had they actually made that commitment, they would have used them continuously since.
It also makes no sense whatsoever to expend high value weapons like that on anything other than highly concentrated military targets / troop concentrations.
Al Queerda did it.
I would imagine that a partial transcript of that conversation would included the memorable line, YOU JUST DID WHAT?! WTF? SERIOUSLY! S**T!!... I think more along the lines of “ Did you a—holes just gas a bunch of civilians!!!? “ No sir, T’waren’t us.” Intelligence just deleted the reply.
How do we know the calls weren’t faked? Iran has demonstrated the capability to take down our drones through electronic warfare.
How do we know the Syrian military wasn’t infiltrated?
How do we know our own government didn’t fabricate the evidence?
The whole thing stinks to high heaven. Attacking Syria has no strategic justification whatsoever. We are backing a rebel force of dark age barbarians whom we have fought against in other areas of the world. Bashar al-Assad has been in power for twelve years, he is the son of Hafez al-Assad who held power for almost 30 years. He knows how to play the game. His forces were routing the rebels, there is no way he would launch a chemical attack and piss off the whole world.
Some older video and inages if someone could grab..

According to SANA citing an official source suffocation cases among army soldiers have been reported.
The source told the agency that army unit pushed into the area, where soldiers were attacked, and seized a warehouse containing material labeled ‘Made in KSA’ as well as a large number of protective masks.
In addition, the army discovered a stockpile of chemical poisoning antidotes with ‘The Qatari-German Company for Pharmaceutical Industries’ label on them.
Clashes have been reported between rebels and regime forces in Jobar.
Should make no difference to the USA. This is a civil war and the American people dont need to spend lives and money only to be hated regardless of which group of 7th century sand monkeys win.
Tell them to give us a call when the fighting is finished and let us know who won (like it makes any difference).
The entire Middle East is filled with low grade sub-human clans who hate each other and have done so for centuries. A few missiles launched by the Prophet Obunghole will not solve this conflict.
The USA will be hated if we support monkey A or monkey B or no monkeys so lets just save our troops and money.
Already done :).
Waiting for the doctor.
Anyway, some of the chemicals in the tunnels seem to be products of some Saudi factory.
Looks like SACHLO (also known as Saudi factory for Chlorine and Alkalies)
The saudis have an entire ultramodern complex where the only thing they do is develop weaponised chems and bio weapons and delivery sytems. It’s a very unigue place.
It could have been ordered by a Secret Police type group
Besides THAT it’s also very unique.
The saudis have taken delivery of every known deadly disease/substance under the sun from every research facility in the world.
The Sauds are animals and should be wiped off the face of the planet. Engineering a plague to kill every last one of these worms ought to be straighforward.
First nibs on bandar’s yacht.
