Syria charade: West bent on war, UN investigation meaningless
http://rt.com/op-edge/syria-un-war-investigation-006/ ^

Posted on 08/27/2013 12:32:32 AM PDT by kronos77

There is no evidence that the Syrian government ordered the massacre with chemical weapons, but the West will blame it anyway because they want war, investigative journalist Neil Clark told RT.

RT: As we can see the US, Britain, France and Turkey are all waiting on options in Syria. How ready are they to move from words to action at this point?

Neil Clark: They are really bent on war and whatever the UN inspectors do this week won’t matter because it is a replay of 2003 when Saddam Hussein was bullied into allowing weapons inspection teams into Iraq. They went in there, they found no weapons, and yet we still had the war. In fact, they launched the war before the weapons inspection team could finish their job. It is a very similar scenario now in Syria.

What we are going to see this week is a charade. We are going to see these inspection teams going to this site and whatever they do the Syrian government will be blamed for [it]. The US has made it quite clear and William Hague has made that quite clear. They will blame the Syrian government whatever the evidence or lack of evidence. There is no evidence that the Syrian government ordered this massacre with chemical weapons, they still are going to blame them because they want war.

RT: How about the investigation you just mentioned? How impartial will that be?

NC: The UN team will go there, they may find chemical weapons traces or they may not. But if they do, the US said quite clearly that the Syrian government is the only party capable of using chemical weapons, so they have made their minds up.

Isn’t it the same as when George W. Bush claimed Irag’s Sadam Hussein had WMD in his country?

Yes, RT is really obnoxious in their anti-West propaganda, but then I switch to CNN International and realize that RT is better... This is so depressing.

I wonder where Syria could have gotten those chemical weapons they allegedly used? Possibly, with the help of the Russians, they were trucked over from Iraq.

It is not beyond the realm of possibilty, the rebels are resposible for the chemical attack. Would Muslims consider it morally reprehensible to kill their own people to advance their agenda? Would they consider strapping explosives to their own children to kill some Jews or other infidels, or even other Muslims of a differing sect?

Wars without end is the sub-saharan negro way of rule the people...and the favored vote buying ‘subsidy economy’ can be found in the EBT cards so prevalent among his perfect voters support base.

Odumbo needs another war to keep the heat off his numerous “phony scandals”.

When can anyone expect to hear about just ONE of those many scandals resolved and justice being served? Yet again we hear the deafening sound of..........crickets.

Connected Guest on Hugh Hewett show cites Israeli intel monitoring communications seem convinced Assad’s brother is behind gassing. Which was stupid if true..

When Iraq’s Hussain was doing it to the Kurds we bitched but did nothing now Obama seems to be having trouble.

They put a target on some poor security guard doing his job to whip up black support whom he’s hasn’t done a thing for but has black yutes killing whites and hispanics. Which the media is brushing off as some kind of game the “kids” are playing.
Now we’re supposed to go to war with the Russians ?
Throw the whole bunch out

Exactly, you guys got it.

As we know everything the regime does is political. Just as the phony war in Syria is. A dust up with Syria even if little happens allows the DBM to get off Benghazi, nsa,CIA, 22 dead seals, killing OBL's double and many other things like 17 trillion in debt and soon to be worthless currency.

correction: not the west, put the progressives led by Obama

I don't think it's the progressives that want war. The progressives lost their anti-war conscience when Kucinich was gerrymandered out of the HOR. It's not just Obama supporters. Under GWB, the conservatives who don't want foreign adventure kept quiet.

The far right and far left don't want war. Nothing stops unless we stop fearing each other and agree that these wars are the manipulations of globalist interests.

It is fitting that the US Secretary of Statements “Kerry” the Phony Administration message to the World.

US President Valerie Jarrett is not a Military President, never has been, and never will be.

She will not complicate whatever flexibility that she and Putin already have.

The planned destruction of Syria is going along well for her and her native Country of birth.

War in Syria involves the US Congress, well it is supposed to - - - - .

The US Congress however, is not a problem for President Jarrett, as she has never met with them and sees no reason to do so in the future.

BTW, in other news, Golf Clown B. Hussein Obama, aka Barry Soetoro, was so exhausted from his recent bus tour promoting the Deathknell Obama’care’ Law, that he only had enough strength to play 5 hours of Golf on Sunday.

In keeping with tradition, Golf Clown Obama never comments on matters being handled by President Jarrett when there is a Golf Game in progress.

...is a replay of 2003 when Saddam Hussein was bullied into allowing weapons inspection teams into Iraq. They went in there, they found no weapons, and yet we still had the war.

As I recall, the weapons inspectors were a condition of the ending of the process that pushed the Iraqis out of Kuwait in 1991.

The inspectors may not have found chemical weapons, but Saddam Hussein proved he had chemical weapons - he used them.
