SAN JOSE, Calif. A 22-year-old father of six was brutally murdered in broad daylight Saturday while standing in a restaurant parking lot in downtown San Jose and a nearby surveillance camera captured the entire scene.
Witnesses too scared to go on camera told KTVU that the shooting stemmed from a fight, saying someone struck the victim, 22-year-old Ramon Garcia with axe-like weapon before he was shot and killed.
Later that night, a woman dropped by the scene and lit candles near the spot where Garcia was found.
She would not identify herself but she told KTVU that she had been dating Garcia.
He wanted to change but he didn't have the right amount of love around him to change, the unidentified woman told KTVU.

Father of 6?
Without reading beyond “A 22-year-old father of six was brutally murdered in broad daylight Saturday,” . . I know he is one of Obama’s sons.
>>Father of 6?<<
“22-year-old father of six”
WTF?
So, WE are the parents of 6. What is a 22-yo doing creating 6 kids?
This is tragic, but this guy was creating problems for everyone.
Can't wait for the first warhammer or halbeard attack.
Well. . .slap me silly and call me ‘grandma,” he is not one of Obama’s sons, but a clean living “Garcia.”
Amazing. . .
And there’s a good chance that they all speak Spanish in the home.
He wanted to change but he didn’t have the right amount of love around him to change, the unidentified woman told KTVU.”
He actually did change, from living to dead. Gee, I guess none of the 6 kids will be seeing their child support as if they were getting any to begin with.
Load up the dumpster and take it away.
22 years old...
6 children.....
Living in the highest cost area of the United States...
With no real skills, other than knowing how to make babies...
No Problems, right?
If authorities have yet to catch the murderer and there are both numerous eyewitnesses and surveillance footage of the murder, why not state what the suspect looks like so that the public can help catch him? Why not use a still frame from the surveillance tape in the article so the public can help identify the suspect? Why so coy with the suspect’s identifying characteristics?
almost a daily occurrence in sleepy little san jose,,
East san jose remains a simmering war zone.. senseless crimes, home invasions, nothing new for the bay area but..
Kudos to the gang cops that try and keep ‘em cool.. good luck.
6 kids , no Dad no more
maybe that candle will light the community up to the fact that murderers walk amongst us , murderers in plain view, proud of their tatts.. and colors.
When’s the car wash? My PU is dusty!
If you watch the video surveillance footage the perp looks like it might be a SOB.
I’d say gangs are involved. Perhaps he had annoyed some rival gang or maybe he was trying to get out of his own gang and knew too much.
Because of the crackdown on guns, a lot of gang bangers are now carrying hammers, axes, sharpened screwdrivers, etc. - anything they can theoretically pass off as something legal.
Looks like the Hispanic victim was chased as he was riding a bicycle when gunned down. Then he got the axe.
Just did. . .and you are right. . .looks that way.
He wanted to change but he didn’t have the right amount of love around him to change,....Huh? I had the right amount of ambition to change myself. Into a successful shithead..sans six kids I knew I couldn’t afford, and they couldn’t afford me. Why is everyone a victim of something?
“Why so coy with the suspects identifying characteristics?”
Don’t you understand that if the collectivist media did not sanitize the news all you would hear at 7AM, 12 noon, 5pm, and 10pm newscasts are...
“Black man murders black kid”
“Black man robs convenience store (or bank)”
“Gang of black kids beat white teen to death”
“Gang of black yoots gang rape Hispanic 12 year old girl”
They aren’t going to allow the reality-based stereotype that Blacks are a disproportionally violent group of people into the public consciousness.
