British MP accuses Israel of supplying weapons to al-Qaida in latest alleged chemical weapons attack in Syria.

British MP and veteran anti-Israel activist George Galloway on Wednesday responded to the latest alleged chemical weapons attack in Syria, stating that if there has been any use of sarin gas, it was radical Islamist group al-Qaida, using gas supplied by Israel.

The Respect Party MP for Bradford West, who is a longstanding supporter of Hezbollah and Hamas, stated: "If there has been use of chemical weapons, it was al-Qaida," asking, "Who gave al-Qaida chemical weapons?"

Staring determined into the camera, Galloway stated: "Here's my theory. Israel gave them the chemical weapons."

Throwing out another option in defense of Syrian President Bashar Assad, of whom he has previously shown support, the British MP said "If there has been any use of nerve gas, it is the rebels that used it."

It’s been a couple years since this loon made any news. I actually thought he’d been thrown out of the govt.

He was originally a MP in the Labour Party (LP) from Glasgow, Scotland until he was shown to be both mercenary (Oil-for-Food Scandal) and whacko to the point he was drummed out of the LP in 2003. The charge was for bringing disrepute to the Labour Party.

Now he is, as stated, a MP for the Respect Party, a re-badged Socialist Alliance and fellow traveler far left political party. Member organizations include Members of the Muslim Association of Britain and Muslim Council of Britain, The Socialist Unity Network and The Revolutionary Communist Party of Britain (Marxist-Leninist) RCPB(ML).

An example of his politics [2005]; Galloway called for a global alliance between Muslims and progressives as, according to him, they "have the same enemies"! By reputation he is a good debater who has never let truth get in the way of a good speech. Sounds somewhat familiar don't it?

But why would Israel want to put Islamists in charge in Syria?

They wouldn't as that would serve them worse than the confusion that now rules there. Think about it. What is the best endgame for them right now?

Staying quiet and do nothing that gives O and his minions OR anyone else a reason to accuse them of anything. That way at the end they deal with a much weakened adversary no matter who wins. Saudi Arabia and Israel have probably had many consultations about this issue.

They both want the same things in the M.E.
Quiet and no rocking of the boat.... O has made that hard for both at this time.
