Among the most sinister revelations to date.

NSA Chief Compliance Officer John DeLong had stressed earlier most violations were unintentional.

This was intentional.

It shows they can listen to anybody...and do. Collect anything/everything...and they do.

Wonder if they're the source of Petraeus' "love interest" revelation.

So Obama actually loves conservatives? I find that hard to believe.

No doubt, just a few “low ranking rogue agents”, right?

“NSA has zero tolerance for willful violations of the agency’s authorities,” the NSA said in a statement Friday.

Does that mean they were fired?

When I first started working for the telco in the 60’s my boss told us be careful who you listen to because you may not like what you hear.

How long before we find out that there were also democrat partisan hacks at NSA spying on political opponents and shuffling info to WH?

My guess is that will be next revelation.

If you get enough "isolated incidents", they aren't so isolated any more.

Power corrupts.

NSA has zero tolerance

I get it now. Zero tolerance has something to do with Obama. Like what would Zero tolerate? In this case I guess Zero was mighty tolerant.

When it comes to the hijinks of the ruling class in this country since the 60s, I used to say, "Life is like high school." The cool kids, the good-looking kids or the kids with wealthy parents, no matter how stupid, have a lot of power, and they call the shots, pick on the hard-working kids and slam some of them into the lockers.

But ever since this Administration has been in power, I've changed it to, "Life is like middle school." It's the cruel onrush of puberty, and the kind of kids who kill small animals or their parents, bully other kids until they commit suicide, steal all the candy and are too immature to work.

Officials reportedly said all employees involved were appropriately disciplined.

I assume since these boys broke the law they were arrested and tried for a crime...

just kidding

we all know better ...

Or maybe their paychecks were cut..

nope not that either...

How about they were 'told off' with a wink and a nod? Nah - or just the wink and nod? Now we've got it. (Send 'em the bedbug letter)

That’s unexpected. Who would have guessed that an immense database tracking every aspect of our lives would be abused?

Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D-Calif.) told the WSJ that the NSA admitted to the Senate Intelligence Committee policies were violated in a set of “isolated incidents.”

How many isolated incidents does it take to make a "set"? And how many can you have before they aren't isolated anymore?

Snowden alluded to this possibility in his second interview, when he mentioned his most affectionate communications being open to view. He said he doesn’t want to live in a world where that is possible.

Could he have known about these “isolated” incidents?
