Tim Tebow is the 21st Cent. version of Joe Kapp. Kapp was an awful passer, too, yet what he did was win football games by virtue of his brute will and strength. All Tebow did the first time he was a consistent starter was take Denver to the playoffs and beat Pittsburgh.
Tebow is being punished for being a devout Christian, not because he can’t win football games.
Ding Ding Ding
We have a winner!!!
When it was announced that Manning was coming to Denver, I was hoping that Tebow would stay and learn from Elway and Manning.
No, Tebow is being “punished” for hitting the ground more often than guys in him uniform. The job is complete passes, he doesn’t, end of story.
Tebow is a reincarnation of Rex Grossman. Grossman is another Florida product who won games, too. He took the Bears to the Superbowl in 2007 during a season which saw him turning in as many games with a 100-plus QB rating as he had games with a sub-50 QB rating. The difference between the two is that Tebow turns in far more bad performances than good. That's why Grossman is still 3rd stringing it with D.C. while Tebow will be out of football in a couple of weeks.

He's being judged by his skills as a quarterback, which aren't overly impressive.
And then got absolutely crushed by New England where he had a total stinker of a game-- which people seem to conveniently forget.
Pot, kettle, black. You obviously don't remember many of Tebow's games as a starter for Denver, particularly his final regular season game against the Kyle Orton led Kansas City Chiefs and his final playoff appearance against New England.
Kapp was a spectacular passer compared to Tebow.
Just like Reggie White and Kurt Warner. /sarc off
