Warner actually cautioning on the backlash from the media and the NFL. Trouble for Tebow commenced when his mother & he appeared in a mild, pro-life Super Bowl ad (that, BTW, made no mention of abortion). Mike Lupicas of the world made it their mission to destroy Tebow, and they've succeeded pretty much in doing so. Every move, utterance, mistake amplified and scrutinized. May be too late now, but he was, and should have been treated as, a developmental project. One more cut deadline; Pats might keep Tebow, even though they typically go with only two QBs. Could use him in other roles, which he said he is willing to do.
