Italian Deputy Premier Angelino Alfano on Thursday said other countries should pay for the detention of immigrant prisoners in Italy. "Immigrants who are in prison undermine the pact with the State where they decided to go live. Let's make the States of origin pay at least for the board and lodging of immigrant detainees."

The US could repatriate a lot of $$$ from Mexico if we do the same...
That’s a great idea - so Mexico can start paying for the incarcerated animals in this country!
Business lesson Number 1:
The fact you send bills doesn’t mean they will ever be paid
Yeah. Our government could set up a Department for this that would only cost twice as much to run as it would collect. Oh, heck, probably more than 10 times.
If we want to stop the flood of illegals into our country, this is exactly what we should do. And, as soon as someone is convicted of a crime here, the criminal and all paperwork should be shipped right back to the nation of origin.
The one thing that Mikey Weiner says that makes sense:
“One barrel of oil per month per illegal alien” would really help us out. Especially considering back pay.
Bingo!
. . .with a bill for the costs involved in incarceration and all legal fees and any medical care rendered. In fact, we need to bill the nation of origin for all medical care, welfare, etc. that we spend on illegals. And, if we are giving any foreign aid to those nations, any unpaid costs for their citizens will come off the top. Then the countries of origin will stop allowing illegal immigration.
Great idea. And if they don’t pay up in two months we execute the perp and send the body back home. Everybody wins. We get rid of a criminal and they get some free fertilizer!
