After virtually ignoring the nation's biggest environmental issue for years, Republican leaders of the House Energy and Commerce Committee are planning a major hearing on climate change on Sept. 18 and are inviting leaders of 13 federal agencies to testify.
In the letters, Whitfield asks nine questions about how each agency devotes its time, money, and resources to climate-change policies and requests each official to include answers in his or her written testimony at the hearing.

..... You got that right!!! My guess is that the entire thing will be staged so that the GOP can then have an Epiphany and declare .... "OMG .... Global warming really is genuine ... And 95% of it is caused by man!!! .....
... Of course they will declare this just as irrefutable evidence is surfacing to prove otherwise. And that will be the price they will pay for trying to be a popular party instead of a group of leaders ....... defenders of the constitution and guardians of that shining light on the hill.
