Alorah Gellerson loves her three-month-old son.
"He's a really good baby. He's always happy. He likes to eat," she said.
But what baby Carson eats has caused a lot of trouble for this 17-year-old mother.
When the baby didn't take to breastfeeding, Gellerson started feeding him homemade goat milk formula.
"Oh, he loved it," Gellerson said. "We put celery juice in it, and he just loves that, and it worked really well with his body, and he grew like a weed."
But when her doctor reported this to the Department of Health and Human Services, things got messy.
"She came in and threatened to take him away and put him in foster care until I complied to go to the doctor and get him seen."
Gellerson, who receives state benefits, says she has complied with all of the mandates from DHHS, including numerous doctor visits, an overnight hospital stay, and even switched over to store-bought formula to please them. But she says the state is still not dropping it.

That pedi was into medicaid fraud. You should report him from someone elses cell phone LOL.
HA!
Did but nothing was done.
That reminds me I have pictures of when someone brought their horse to the Emergency. The hospital treated him right there at the door. Wonder how that would work under ObummerCare.
Given the choice of standing with our “goobermint” or this girl, I’ll stand with the girl who was bright enough and caring enough to find a safe and logical solution to feed her young son!
If the men in this state can’t protect a baby and her mother from left-wing neo-Nazis, you saps deserve every misery delivered on you.
When my mother was born, back in 1924 - she was hard to feed. They gave her goat’s milk fro the next door neighbor’s goat and the juice from cooked meat. (Press the meat, give the kid the juice that comes out). .That’s what the doctors told my grandmother to feed her
I guess you could say I’m testimony to the success of that plan.
My youngest son was on a goats milk formula from Adelle Davis (1979) and he’s always been healthy. But I was not taking government assistance and that was then.
Goat milk is excellent for babies. Contrary to popular belief goat milk does not smell like goats.
Bravado is useless. Just lie and fight another day.
