Former U.S. Sen. Scott Brown told the Herald he is exploring a possible 2016 presidential bid today as he hit a well-worn stomping ground for Oval Office hopefuls the Iowa State Fair. I want to get an indication of whether theres even an interest, in Massachusetts and throughout the country, if theres room for a bi-partisan problem solver, said Brown, who has been meeting with top republicans nationally and last week hosted a Fenway event for Republican National Committee members. Brown indicated he isn't close to deciding whether he will run. Its 2013 I think its premature, but I am curious. Theres a lot of good name recognition in the Dakotas and here thats pretty good. Brown rose to national prominence after his surprise win in the 2010 special election for the U.S. Senate over Attorney general Martha Coakley. He lost the seat to U.S. Sen. Elizabeth Warren in 2012, but he has recently kept the door open to many races including the 2014 Bay State gubernatorial and a U.S. Senate bid in New Hampshire
Scott’s weekend at the Senate went to his head, and now there is nothing for him to do, but make a fool of himself.
Some FREEPERS will be excited about this. They loved him and supported him as late as 2012. Forget it. He should go back to modeling.
I wont vote for him.
We had too many faux conservatives in the 2008 and 2012 elections. These were distractions to keep conservatives divided. I hope that this time we realize that not all those who lable themselves conservatives really are.

I will NOT vote for Brown.
Crude and stupid comment.
Okay, so, wth, I hereby announce my candidacy.
Thank You... I was successful then..

Wow. Better late than never.
Hey, we sent a fake Indian to congress. Maybe we can send a fake conservative to the White House.
In 2012 Huntsman ran solely to help mittens by assuring that mittens would not be the most leftist candidate on stage.
Perhaps Scott Brown will do the same for Jeb! in 2016?
Is this a joke??
That was my first reaction when I heard John Kerry hinting that he was running for President. I was baffled when he actually got the nomination. Scott is "not a bad guy", but he lost to Princess Fauxhantas because he made it abundantly that clear during the campaign that his only guiding principle was the desire to be re-elected. I think if he had told voters what he stood for (I have no idea) they would overwhelmingly have reelected him.
Scott Brown is a RINO like Romney, only without the exciting persona and quarter billion dollars.
A cottage industry has emerged in Republican circles: washed up hacks run for President, thereby getting free advertisement for books, or enhancing their resume for gigs on cable news.
Newt, Santorum, Ron Paul, Pawlenty, now Brown.
Blecch!
Well, yes, I suppose so -— if that is the sort of success you seek....
people who are hungry for a 3rd party .... MASS is a place to start cuz there is a void.
It would be the Independent Party. Not the Conservative Party. U need to schism off of the major party, the DEMS (not the dead party!)
Perhaps the MASS does not allow cross endorsements ... run on 2 lines. Which somewhat kills the idea.
In CT the INDY party has success. If only they got the concept.
