President George W. Bushs daughter Barbara said she would like to see Hillary Clinton run for president in 2016.
Barbara Bush, 31, called Clinton unbelievably accomplished in an upcoming interview with People magazine, saying she wants to see the former first lady mount a campaign.

You are right..no doubt
But we have exclude our women
Or our blacks
Or our Mexicans
But no question women voting and the plethora of single moms is the biggest culprit
Its too late now
We will only recover our birthright thru blood
I am sad to say
We have imploded thru largesse and weakness
Show me any evidence he did anything. Show me one example beyond words, words, words.
If I claimed that a particular person supports feeding babies arsenic, I should be expected to prove it. You made as assertion claiming a person, Bush, said or did something. The burden of proof is on you to prove it.
No one?
How about most of them.
When the market crashed in 2008, a bunch of them made more than Hillary, in one day. Sixty Minutes focused on a few of them. I remember them confronting Boehner and Pelosi, among others, about it.
Both of them were deer in the headlights when confronted.
Check out the net worth of members of Congress before and after their “service”.
They are all criminals.
Going to Congress should not be a ticket to riches.
Totally different...apples and oranges...
Buying after a crash is nothing like trading cattle futures.
I am afraid you are not familiar with trading.
No wonder that the Bush and Clinton clans get along so well, they represent the same interests and the same agenda.
Texans are already getting GW's half-Mexican nephew George P. shoved down their throats, La Raza agenda and all. And it won't surprise me in the least if the RNC finds a way to make sure every GOP candidate in the 2016 somehow self destructs and hands the nomination to Jeb by default.
One of my hopes and dreams is to live long enough that I'll never have to hear the names "Clinton" or "Bush" in connection to politics again.
” And it won’t surprise me in the least if the RNC finds a way to make sure every GOP candidate in the 2016 somehow self destructs and hands the nomination to Jeb by default.”
I guarantee they will try. I thought about this too.
I'm no fan of Condi Rice or most of George W. Bush's cabinet, but pray tell, by what stretch of the imagination was she worse than Hillary Clinton? Condi at least seemed intelligent and competent, which wasn't the case with Hillary.
Are you serious?
They made purchases based on insider info that saved or made them millions.
I am afraid that you are not totally familiar with how trading works and what insider information is.
Are you aware that members of Congress are the only people who CANNOT be prosecuted for insider trading?
I knew that Bush's brand of "compassionate conservatism" would be nothing but low-calorie liberalism mixed with cronyism from the get-go, but I wasn't prepared for just how bad he would be ("religion of peace" nonsense, energy bill, amnesty for illegals, Harriet Meyers, quagmire in Iraq, and TARP as the icing of the cake). Nor was I expecting so much blind devotion to his administration from conservatives who really ought to have known better.
What we're seeing now is retrospective reality setting in. Liberals are coming to realize that Bush wasn't so bad after all, and conservatives are starting to see him and his clan for what they really are all about.
EXCELLENT post.
Yes, excellent post, but you forgot Medicare part D and No Child Left Behind, both of which Bush so lovingly crossed the aisle to accomplish.
They are both very intelligent women. I don’t like either one of them but to believe they are not both extremely bright strikes me as odd.
What I don’t like about Condi is that she focused on Saddam when he wasn’t a major problem for this country and I believe this played some role in the WTC. No, she is not the prime reason, but she failed in her duties, in my opinion, at that most crucial of times. I know that most here don’t share that opinion.
Hillary is terrible for many reasons, but Condi played a role in one of our worst moments.
Hillary isn't stupid, but she isn't the brilliant super-woman that her supporters make her out to be. She rode to where she is on Bill's coattails, without him, she'd probably still be an obscure lawyer somewhere in Arkansas. Like Obama, her legislative accomplishments in the Senate were virtually nil.

I agree that Iraq was in many ways a diversion, a post-9/11 Red Herring by the Bush administration.
But that's life.........
