DiMaggio killed Hannah Anderson's mother and brother ... BEFORE setting the house on fire
The Daily Mail Online ^ | August 15, 2013 | Meghan Keneally

Posted on 08/15/2013 6:31:44 AM PDT by Uncle Chip

Search warrants reveal that Jim DiMaggio had tortured and killed his two victims before he drove off with the kidnapped teen....

They found the bodies of Christina Anderson and her six-year-old son Ethan covered with tarp, and a crowbar lying next to Christina....

The details surrounding the nature of the bodies are scant, but the fact that the humans were draped with tarp before the firefighters got there- and that there was blood coming from the dog's head- implies that they were all killed before the fire ravaged the home.

This comes in contrast to what Hannah Anderson told friends on social media after she was freed by FBI officials who found her with DiMaggio in Idaho.

When asked about their deaths on her Ask.fm account, Hannah said that 'he tied them up in the garage'.

In another post she said DiMaggio had rigged the house with explosives that went off when they were on the road, so she was not aware that her mother and brother had been killed until she was told by an FBI agent an Idaho hospital after her rescue.

After fielding hundreds of questions from both strangers and friends, Hannah shut down her Ask.fm page ...

As for the immediate police version of events, their conclusions are clear. In the report, they stated that 'after the double homicide, DiMaggio set the house on fire'....

Two search warrants were released on Wednesday, showing what led investigators to seek permission to go to the Anderson's home and retrieve evidence in the hopes of piecing together DiMaggio's connection to the family.

Their initial point of investigation was DiMaggio's phone records, which showed that he and Hannah Anderson had 13 phone conversations in the days and weeks leading up to her abduction.

Right.

It sounds more and more like she consciously played him.

And though that is no justification for the crime-of course, he must have loved it... and he is certainly to blame.

The young lady here, has some culpability in the death of her mother and brother, because it looks like she could have interfered with HIS plans, but didn't. In some way, to some extent, he was satisfying SOME part of her agenda... bank on it.

So do I - there was a movie with Martin Sheen and Sissy Spacek about a case like this - based on a true story.

It may not be that farfetched.

She said that she was supposed to help him out by carrying the other backpack up to the Snake River for him.

Then what??? Is that where they were to part company and hook up later after settling things down in San Diego.

I note that she does not want to talk with her father who lives in Tennessee. Why??? Probably because he would want her to move to Tennessee but she wants to be on her own in San Diego.

I agree with you. Maybe she didn’t expect it to go the way it did but I agree that she may have at least contributed to what happened. I know myself I won’t call anyone 13 times in one day especially if I think they’re creepy!

No teen age girl is going to be psychologically developed enough to comprehend the consequences of dallying with a grown man ... even IF he is stable and responsible. (And this guy was NOT)

She behaved irresponsibly and with no understanding of or concern for the consequences. (Just look at the way young people deport themselves on TV and the way they conduct their lives in programs that are supposed to BE about young people. There is NO concern for consequences)

Mom did NOT show her right from wrong and the daughter behaved like the only examples she had ever seen.

She wasn’t taught about character and moral (there’s that old fashioned word) behavior.

Wasn’t too long ago I was one of those young people you talk about! Totally right about messing with the older men!

well she WAS in the woods...we know that they were camping...she was seen in the woods....and they apparently had got pretty back far in, because it took the trackers a long time to hike up there......so whether she has scratches or sunburn is MOOT....she was in the woods....

secondly to whoever said "32" calls....I thought it said "13" calls and it was in the "days and weeks" prior to the kidnapping..this guy was "Uncle" and close family friend...frequent calls would not be out of the ordinary..even if it was 32 calls...

teenage girls nowadays are a strange lot....the Kardashians..Lady Gaga....Justin Beiber..etc etc...they live in a shallow pagan world....don't let her demeanor as a typical California teenage girl surprise you...a lot of them are like that....

did she go willingly?...did she help murder her own brother and mother?.....I don't know.....but I'll always give the victim the benefit of the doubt....

Where was Hannah while he was tying up & torturing the mother & brother?

Something doesn’t pass the smell test on this.

I read somewhere where she said she was out in the brush on his property while this was going on.

Really??? and she heard nothing???

He shot the dog -- didn't she hear the gunshot???

And there were no screams from her mother and brother while they were being tortured and killed???

I’m sorry, but the idea that you can look at a photo and determine the character of the one photographed is pretty far fetched.

But then you double and triple down with entirely made up stuff, supported by nothing, to wit:

* she probably flirted with him unmercifully
* Mom was certainly asleep on this one

The beauty of your made up scenario is that it cannot ever be proven wrong ... the two parties are both dead.

I’ll be in line to flip the switch if she did it, but to date we have no one iota of evidence to suggest anything other than she was kidnapped by a very disturbed human being whose father did nearly the same thing years earlier and the 2 men died on the same date (of course not the same year).

Apparently murder and kidnapping are not juicy enough, so let’s make up a bunch of stuff to make the story even better.

In the pics she posted, there is not an ounce of sadness in her eyes.

<><><><

In the hours after my mom’s passing last year, my sister and I were telling each other family stories and laughing out loud.

Had a picture been taken of us then, well, you get the idea.

More great pics for us all as Britney Spears wannabe and mourning daughter is escorted through the papparazzi to a fundraiser held in her honor:

One of the most puzzling pieces added to the ongoing investigation into this crime is that a DNA test kit was found in the burnt out car that once belonged to Christina Anderson....

A number of personal items that could potentially be used for DNA collection were also gathered, including clothing and toothbrushes but also used condoms.

Mike and Mary Young were the first to see Hannah and DiMaggio, and they said several things struck them as strange.

The pair had set up a two-person tent on a ridge that had no water access and was unprotected. DiMaggio said he was headed for Salmon River, but he was going in the wrong direction. The teen was wearing what looked like pajama pants, not suited for the rugged terrain.

“She was trying to turn her face away,” Mike Young said.

When the riders first came upon the duo, Hannah and DiMaggio were around 10 feet apart, but he quickly closed the gap and put his arm around her waist.

“She did appear frightened, but I thought it was fear of the horses,” Mary Young said.

The Youngs met up with the Johns and headed for the lake, where Hannah and DiMaggio suddenly appeared. The couples tried to make small talk but got little information about what they were doing in the area.

“Last year it was her turn to pick a place, and she wanted to go to Los Angeles and Hollywood,” DiMaggio said, referring to a previous road trip with Hannah. “That’s why I picked this place.”

The riders said that Hannah did not give them any signal she needed help and they thought DiMaggio might be her father.

Despite the red flags, they didn’t detect any danger or see any weapons.

All four were carrying guns.

“He might have got one of us, but we woulda got him,” Mark John said.

And when I heard that my father had died in prison I cried my eyes out.

And anyone who would’ve thought I was grieving for him would’ve been mistaken.
