Al Qaeda Flag Flies High Above Christian Churches
Frontpage Magazine ^ | Raymond Ibrahim

Days ago, al-Qaeda’s Egyptian leader, Ayman Zawahiri, portrayed the overthrow of Muhammad Morsi and the Brotherhood as a “Crusader” campaign led by Coptic Pope Tawadros II who, according to Zawahiri and other terrorists, is trying to create a Coptic state in Egypt.

Since then, not only are Egypt’s Christians and churches now being attacked in ways unprecedented in the modern era, but new reports indicate that al-Qaeda’s black flag has been raised on some of them, specifically St. George Church in Sohag. Considering that it was al-Qaeda linked terrorists who initiated one of the bloodiest church attacks in recent history, the 2010 Baghdad church attack where nearly 60 Christians were slaughtered, that al-Qaeda is singling out Egypt’s Christians bodes ill.

The Islamic terrorist organization’s incitements against the Copts are just the latest to emanate from Islamists—from the top of the Brotherhood leadership to the bottom of the “Muslim street”—creating something of an “open season” on Egypt’s Christians.

This, too, shall pass...

“We shall all be judged one day, not by each other’s standards or even our own, but by the standard of Christ. It is written: ‘As I live, says the Lord, every knee shall bow to me, and every tongue shall confess to God’. It is to God alone that we have to answer for our actions.” Romans 14:11 J.B Phillips translation

John McCain and his butt buddy Graham want to arm the Muslims Brotherhood-—I don’t hear either of them proposing to arm the Coptic Christians.

Does Jailed Brotherhood leader have goods on Obama?

The Obama administration’s call for the release of Muslim Brotherhood leaders in Egypt is inexplicable. The trip to Egypt by Senators John McCain (R-AZ) and Lindsey Graham (R-SC), during which they called for the same thing is even more inexplicable, especially since both men are demanding answers in Benghazi.

In an interview with the Anatolia News Agency, Saad Al-Shater, the son of a Muslim Brotherhood leader, the detained Khairat Al-Shater, said that his father had in his hand evidence that will land the head of United States of America, president Obama, in prison. He stressed that the senior U.S. delegation currently visiting Egypt, knows full well that the fate, future, interests and reputation of their country is in the hands of his father, and they know that he owns the information, documents and recordings that incriminate and would condemn their country. ....the release of his father is the only way for them to prevent a great catastrophe.

... In an interview with CNN, McCain named Al-Shater specifically when asked about individuals that could negotiate a future Egyptian government.

"....McCain named Al-Shater specifically when asked about individuals that could negotiate a future Egyptian government"....

You have got to be kidding me! This guy? I beg to differ greatly...he's arm in hand thick with the MBS and with that same agenda in mind for Egypt....McCain is going to keep pushing the Egyptian government right into the arms of Putin......what a dastardly man MCCain is...I think now he's worse than Carter or any other representative in the republican fold...he IS dangerous to our national security!

Here's the guy McCain thinks has Egypts best interests in mind?...I think not and then some!
