Why would they shoot a bus driver just because he was a metrosexual?

Looks like she’s more or less just transcribing the police blotter. A worthwhile detail of why anybody thinks the shooting happened is notably absent.

Strangely I don't seem to recall the "Ralph gets shot by a junkie with a racial chip on his shoulder" episode of The Honeymooners

Watched it from my window.
The ambulance with the perp took its time pulling away; either he’s not hurt that bad or he’s dead. I’m thinking the latter, they put several rounds in him.
Who knows why he tried to take out the bus driver. Could have been a domestic dispute, or he just flipped. We have some strange people on our buses out here.

My bus ride was uneventful. But looneys usually aren’t headed to Bellevue.

I have “enjoyed” hundreds of bus rides here in Pittsburgh. Let me tell you, weirdos/creeps ride these buses too.

"An initial report said the suspect tried to hijack the bus. Footage from Chopper 7 showed several bullet holes in the window near the bus driver. The suspect, 25, was shot at Second Avenue and Seneca Street and taken into custody. Police were also investigating a possible attempted carjacking on Second Avenue connected to the bus incident." Weirdos. We has them.

Where do these thugs find the ammo?

An initial report said the suspect tried to hijack the bus.
Like the Monty Python skit where the hijacker pulls out a gun and says "I demand you take this bus directly to Cuba!"

Where do these thugs find the ammo? Good question. It's expensive and scarce! We bought some 5.56 yesterday and we were limited to three boxes.

Who knows why he tried to take out the bus driver Could be as simple as the bus driver asking the perp to pay the fare.
I've read that the bus drivers in the immigrant parts of Paris don't even ask for fares anymore. It's not worth risking a violent response. So everybody rides for free.

Sadly when you look at that map and see the names Martin Luther King, Sojourner Truth and Frederick Douglass, it becomes self-explanatory.
To: Uncle Miltie
The noontime crowd at that intersection is sketchy... full of panhandlers and just flat weird folks. At 9:00 it’s usually just commuters.
Just wait, someone will blame the elimination of the ride free area for this (if it hasn’t already happened.)
