So the Redskins are targeted because they have an offensive nickname but an ordinary, acceptable image of an American Indian on their logo.

The Cleveland Indians, meanwhile, have an inoffensive nickname but are targeted because they use a silly caricature of an American Indian for their logo.

Man, this is getting tiresome. Will the last whining Injun please turn out the lights when you leave the room?

The vast majority of American Indians have no problem with the name as they realize its use in that context is nothing less than a compliment.
