Katie Lentz, 19, was trapped in her mangled car for nearly an hour before a priest suddenly arrived when she asked to pray. The holy man vanished once emergency workers pulled the teen to safety.

yeah that’s it. Priests ride around on bicycles carrying anointing oil all the time.
He probably had a Segway.
I wasn’t attempting a dissertation on the finer points of any particular brand of churchianity, only stating the Almighty gave us scriptures to study that we may know the truth from fiction.
This is getting interesting! Pretty amazing, strange, and unusual that this miracle was so obvious. Could there be a reason? :)
2 Thessalonians (KJV):
7 For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way.
8 And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming:
9 Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders,
10 And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.
11 And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:
12 That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.
13 But we are bound to give thanks alway to God for you, brethren beloved of the Lord, because God hath from the beginning chosen you to salvation through sanctification of the Spirit and belief of the truth:
14 Whereunto he called you by our gospel, to the obtaining of the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.
I figure either God knew this would go viral and would help a lot of "Doubting Thomases" out there to believe...and/or the young lady in the crash has something the Lord really wants her to do later!
I was thinking, what if it wasn't an angel, but just some man...if I were him, would I come forward? Coming forward would disappoint a lot of people who are inspired by the possibility that he was an angel. In the end, I decided I'd come forward because the truth is more important than a falsehood, no matter how pleasant or inspiring that falsehood might be. So as more time goes by and the priest does not come forward, the more I believe he was indeed an angel.
If you notice, when these apparently divine interventions do happen, there is always the possibility it can be explained away - I believe for a reason. ;)
For one, I look for more to happen openly. I believe the little girl who received a lung recently, was also a open miracle, meant to send a message as well as give believers assurance.
Striking in the story on the Blaze is that many reported the priest had a strong accent.
That gave me goosebumps. Thanks for sharing.
Just kidding (re:Mormons on the island)
I bumped into a woman in north SF bay area around Novato who had previously lived on Oahu,..on base, either Pearl Harbor or Hickam, I forget. She ran into lots of spiritual warfare associated with her premises and physical attacks on her body. Later it turned out the house had been built near the crematorium used in WWII by the military.
FWIW I used to bike from Koko Head to Pearl everyday for work and it brought back memories of strangers I had seen in that area, but that was just beyond where I usually traveled.
For those who have had direct experience with angels, the report is very consistent with past observations.
The issue isn’t so much the respect of persons, but the love of faith in Him through Christ.
What? No big funny hat and red shoes?
Mormons have a monopoly on the bicycles in the Land of Pele. None left for the priests.
Have had my share of the mystical there. On the day before getting discharged from the Navy, I got violently ill. I was basically living in the bathroom.
My wife, who had been reading up on Hawaiiana, got a leaf from a Ti plant ( which Hawaiians plant for spiritual protection around their houses ).
She made a compress with the Ti leaf, laid it ( or did she lei it?) on my forehead, and almost instantly we both saw this purplish wisp rise out of my chest. It was the darnest thing. We both saw it and looked dumbfounded at each other.
Felt instantly better too and was able to process out the next day.
Koko Head to Pearl is quite a bike trek. Were these strangers you saw earthly or ethereal?
Don’t know if you have the BlazeTV, but Beck just said he’s going to do a special on Wednesday night with her family!
Cool, thanks!!!
Now what you gonna say? :)
I’m not clicking on anything if there’s popups, but if that’s his picture above, he looks nothing like Walter Matthau!
That’s just a link to another FR thread about the priest. No popups, I promise... ;)
