In the 60s or 70s there was a movement to get males to carry purses.
That was revised later, but they were called man-bags.
The attempts have been going on for centuries — look at some of the French males from 3 or 4 centuries ago.

I certainly don’t. Male Orthodox Jews are recognizably male.

Man bags are out there. Saw a photo just yesterday of a few Hollywood men carrying them. Ugh.

Derek Zoolander: So why male models?
J.P. Prewitt:: Think about it, Derek. Male models are genetically constructed to become assassins...They're in peak physical condition...They can gain entry to the most secure places in the world. And most important of all, models don't think for themselves. They do as they're told.
Derek Zoolander: That is not true.
J.P. Prewitt:: Yes it is, Derek.
Matilda Jeffries: Yeah. Think about any photo shoot you've ever been on.
[FLASHBACK, DEREK LEAPING ABOUT IN "ORGAN GRINDER" CHIMPANZEE SUIT, HOLDING CYMBALS AND SCREECHING]
Voice: You're a monkey, Derek! Dance, monkey, in your little spangly shoes! Mash your cymbals, chimpy! Dance, Derek, dance!
[FLASHBACK ENDS]
Derek Zoolander: Good point....But why male models?

Yeah, we have that vice as well.
My barrel racing 12 year old is pretty tough on boots.

Looks like the one on the left just drove the one on the right home from a 20-year stretch in the pokey.

Gender bender JW Anderson's backless, semi-sheer halter tops for men raised eyebrows at London Men's Fashion Week.
