I kinda envy anyone who knows how to get out and fly fish.........

It is actually rather easy, I do it all the time.
One obtains a nice trout from the fishmongers.
Tie good stout line to it.
Swing it over one’s head in ever repeating arcs as one exclaims: Fly Fish! Fly.
Send pictures to Field & Stream.
Yeah, that's nothing. I prefer the more descriptive:
Disease-ridden, boy-raping whackjobs.
An evil plague on our young boys.

And you're here "just hassling the locals"?!?
Then why don't you get the F back to DU where you live!!
Holy crap, New York Times!!! A fishing license??! You’re hot on the trail now, send all resources to Wyoming so you can really blow the lid on this!! Biggest story since...since...ever!!
thank you for a reasoned reply.
Something that a few seem incapable of
golly...I've been posting here for almost 10 years and never realized what this site was.
Thank you for enlightening me
ROFL!
WJ: “By all means make Jim aware of my posts. That sounded like a threat. So do it, chicken.”
So I did as you suggested, and THAT chapped your little heinie too. Go figure.
You’re a misguided piece of work, for sure.
Ten years and you turn up your nose at the “locals”?
Ten years and you’re hanging around advocating for “gays”?
You needed some enlightenment. Glad I could help.
Smokin’ out the faggot lovers — it’s a tough job, but *someone* has to do it. :-)
where was I advocating for gays?
Please point out the specific post where I did that.
still waiting.
Out of my 18,000 comments, surely you can find something to back up your ridiculous assertion that I was advocating for gays
Listen, you do your thing for and with “gays” as you see fit.
I pointed out to you, in part, the intended mission and philosophy of this site which I try to hew to in my posts and my life.
It doesn’t say anything either about “stirring up the locals” or getting one’s panties in a bunch worrying about “gays”.
And I don’t waste my time on the wheedling or mewling of those who devote themselves to that kind of thing.
Sit in your closet and wait all you want, gaily, if that’s what you dig most.
Not once on this thread, have I expressed any opinion on gays other than to say bashing them is not a winning strategery
I pointed out to you, in part, the intended mission and philosophy of this site which I try to hew to in my posts and my life.
Perhaps you should read that statement again yourself, and try to find the part of it that I failed to recognize
It doesnt say anything either about stirring up the locals or getting ones panties in a bunch worrying about gays
What part of gay bashing is it that plays a part in Conservative beliefs?
And I dont waste my time on the wheedling or mewling of those who devote themselves to that kind of thing.
Obviously you do, when one considers the fact that you completely misread or intentionally mis-represented what I posted.
Sit in your closet and wait all you want, gaily, if thats what you dig most.
Do you have some sort of translator on your computer that makes my post appear to be something other than what they are?
You hate gays...got it.
You also have a reading comprehension issue you should seek help for
No, I'm not. Liz Cheney may be soft on this issue, but she's a strong conservative on most others. And she's outspoken and articulate, compared to the colorless Enzi.
I don't foresee the Senate taking up homosexual-related issues anytime soon, so that issue doesn't excite me.
Bear in mind that time and again, some of the loudest and most outspoken gay-bashers turn out to be closet queens.
I’d say it was pretty damned smart.
Who thought to look and see if Liz Cheney applied for an resident fishing or hunting license?
Lots of folks in Wyoming, that’s who.
If you think this is the first time that some carpetbagger has landed themselves in Jackson, then decided to run for state or federal office, you’d be oh so very wrong.
If you think this is the first time that some outlander has bought property in Wyoming and then gone down “to get me a huntin’ license” and try to claim they’re a resident because they own a property in the Jackson area (while they spend most of their year in Hollywood, DC, NYC, et al), you’d be even more wrong.
When Cheney announced she was running for Enzi’s seat earlier this year, LOTS of people said “Yea, right. She wants to run for senate and she hasn’t been in-state long enough to even claim residency on a fishing or hunting license.” That’s exactly what my wife and I said to each other this past spring when word first came out that Lizzie was going to run for the senate. BTW - Women in this state hunt and fish in large numbers. They know the score on residency too.
The reason why someone looked this up wasn’t because a bunch of lefties outside the state went looking for it. It’s because she’s already rubbed a whole lot of people the wrong way, plopping herself down in Jackson and then announcing “I’m here! Now you can vote for me!”
Finding out that she applied for a resident license now just finishes her fit to the Jackson [Ass]Hole stereotype we have in this state.
No, she bought a fishing license while claiming to meet resident status.
The “10 year” thing is very curious. The LSA isn’t supposed to fill that out, either. That’s part of the form that the applicant is supposed to fill in when they swear they’ve met the residency requirements before signing.
