You’ve got a number of folks who are luke warm Conservatives, who think they get it. Sadly, they regularly vote for the idiots that are nominated in the party, and probably do more harm than good.

"Luke-warm" doesn't cut it. By definition, they are committed to NOTHING, NADA. They hold no fort, drawn no line in the sand.

If I understand you gist ...that you believe most (80/20) of the Congressional Republicans are actually more "conservatives"; Well I totally disagree with you, and the proof has been in the pudding since 2004, when Bush and the Pubbies finally owned all three Executive, House, and Senate branches...and accomplished NOTHING to promote conservatism. They still yield to 0bama at every turn sooner or later.

No, when you took it that I was referring to our elected leaders in Congress, you went off track.  I was referencing the part of the Republican public who get it.  Some folks get it because they were raised with morals.  Others get it because they understand the ideological arguments, and dismiss Liberalism/Marxism/Communism/Islamism.  20% of Republicans understand.  80% do not.  As for Congress, it is appearant that almost none of them truly get it, in the Senate (has been lost for a long time) and now the House seems just as bad.  It's a Conservatism free zone in Washington, D. C.

Moreover, Boehner, McConnell, Cantor, McCain, and Graham exlusively control the direction of the GOP. Moreover, the RNC selection of Romney, McCain, Bush, and Dole (ALL Dem-lite candidates) to oppose Democrats is a dead give-away.

I don't disagree with the first premise in spirit although I'd add a few names.  On the second part, exactly!

The evidence is overwhelming: The GOPe runs the Republican Party, and they are...SUBVERSIVE Trojan Horse Globalists who oppose US Sovereignty and conservatism.

I agree.

Thanks for the clarification, D1....

Republicans vote against Dems and their subversive agenda by default; Its your opinion that 80% of the voting Pubbies are NOT privy to the ideological subversiveness of the Dem Party, while indifferent to the dangers of "Liberalism/Marxism/Communism/Islamism". Correct me if I'm wrong in interpreting your intent.

Where I disagree with you is in the degree that Republican voters know the REAL score; By default they've been forced to vote for the "lesser of two evils." That is NOT what Dem vs. Pubbie should be, and they know it. But it's become worse than that....

Congress DOES "get it", which brings up the question: Why IS DC a "Conservatism free zone"??

These days Pubbies like McCain are traveling to Syria and carrying 0bama's water; They are supporting the illegal surveillance policies; They are less than outraged at abuses of the IRS, NSA, Benghazi, Fast & Furious, the leaked "memo" that indicted conservatives as "Terrorists." Republican Leaders are yielding on Amnesty.

They. Are. NOT. Acting. On. OUR. Behalf. WHY NIOT??

Why are they enabling Evil to go on unchecked and allowing 0bama's Admin to further abuse the USCON?

Ignoring any one of several scandals should have rightfully AND legally have begun Impeachment proceeding. Instead, all we've seen is smoke and mirrors from Republican "leadership", and aiding and abetting TREASON. And I repeat; Congress DOES "get it" -- that is most troubling.

As to the rest of our discussion, we seem to be in agreement.
