Romney re-enters GOP fray

The presidential election ended almost nine months ago, but Mitt Romney re-emerged Tuesday to continue his fight against President Barack Obama’s policies and assert himself as a Republican Party elder at a time when the party is struggling to find its path forward.

Romney sought to re-establish himself as a force within the GOP with a speech in the politically crucial state of New Hampshire, weighing in on the fractious battles to play out within the Republican Party since last November.

The former Massachusetts governor most pointedly sought to tamp down a charge led by Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas, and Tea Party conservatives, who have vowed not to fund the government — risking a government shutdown — unless Obama's health care law is defunded.

IMO, what really sunk Mitt, was his comment that he wanted to do away with Obamacare so he could replace it with his own plan.

People heard that and said WTF, why bother...

It’s looking now as if we may have had an even worse president if Obama hadn’t won in ‘08 and ‘12.

Mitt and McCain are squishy liberals. Obama is a pinko scum communist. We would have had a crappy president, but nobody outside of Fidel Castro would be worse IMHO.

He should go back to Massachusetts and marry McCain.

YEA — but if he did that, he would have to accept Miz Lindsey as part of the package. Polygamy — no problem!

Romney is vastly under-appreciated.

He restored the reputations of Viagra Dole and Juan McLame. He ran a "campaign" that made theirs look dynamic and exciting ... vigorous even.

The Mormon Milquetoast ain't got the right stuff. If we have to have a candidate who wears weird underwear and believes he will become a god on another planet, let's get one like the guy who ran the Mountain Meadows Massacre.

Mitt. No-Fat, Non-Dairy, Artificial Vanilla-flavored, frozen dessert. Whipped. Yo, Dweeb. STFU and go home to Utah.

I know most here want Romney to just go away. Me too, except Mit just might maybe could possibly be able to drown out John McCain as the voice of the party. You have to admit that would be better than what they have now.
Just a thought.

Go away!

Really, just go away, spend your billions on exotic vacations but just go away!

Take McLame with you!

The losers need to go away and let us find some winners. We don’t need another McCain.

I still would like to know how Milt could be such a lousy candidate.

We simply cannot win, with Democrat lite tactics.

If folks want a Democrat, they’ll vote for the full strength brand name for the same cost.

Offer an alternative philosophy, and you’ll pick up converts.

Offer a bit less of the same old thing, and you’ll continue to toss elections every two years.

How hard is this to understand, and yet the Republican leadership can’t grasp this to save their very existence.

Face it, folks. This is the past, present, and future of the Gelded Old Party.

The Bushies, Dole, McCain, Romney.

Yeah, and who's next?

Time for a new party, one that will peel workin' folks (Reagan dims for those in Rio Linda) who don't have anywhere else to go out of the donkey party and win.

Screw the Wall Street amnesty crowd.

For ever.

THE PROBLEM:

The RNC/GOPe Rockefeller Globalists have OWNED the Republican Party, and still do.

Until these subversive Trojan Horse cancers are ousted as the "leaders," the GOP doomed in its current state of 1/2 Dem-lite, and the other half what used to be the Republican Party.

Amen!

Case and Point: Romney. But then again, The Fix was engineered by the Vichy-GOPe Rockefeller Globalists to begin with...

This is why we NEVER see REAL conservatives heading the House, the Senate, or Committee Chairs.

Like choosing between the firing squad and Ol' Sparky. Both are death.

I'd like to see Ted Cruz as the voice of the Republican Party. What are we willing to do put him, or someone who thinks like him, into that position?
