Obama: Hillary Clinton ‘doesn’t have to measure’ White House drapes By Lara Seligman - 08/07/13 08:05 AM ET
When Hillary Clinton came to lunch at the White House last month, she didn’t waste energy measuring the drapes, President Obama joked in a wide-ranging interview Tuesday on “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno.”
“Keep in mind, she’s been there before,” Obama reminded Leno when the host asked about his lunch with the former first lady and potential 2016 presidential contender. “She didn’t need to measure them.”
Obama said he was the one who proposed the White House lunch, adding that the two had become “genuinely close” during his first term.
Obama also noted that Clinton seemed relaxed as her four years as secretary of State came to a close.
“She had that post-administration glow,” the president told Leno. “You know, when folks leave the White House, like two weeks later they look great.”
Clinton is the strong favorite for the 2016 Democratic nomination, but has yet to declare interest in launching a presidential bid.
Maybe he’s right and Hillary will be the next president. The man has made a complete farce of the office.
Wow, there is some campaign fodder right there. Being relaxed after one of your diplomats is murdered by terrorist? Plausible I guess considering the Clinton body count previously.
They come in her size anyway.

I seem to recall Hillary’s last attempt at decorating the WH led to it looking like an anti-bellum New Orleans bordello.

Obama is able to joke about Clinton winning more than 3 years out from the election. The GOP is such a mess, such an impotent joke, that no one can honestly say there will be a GOP candidate to make a real challenge. The public is too stupid to hold Democrats accountable for the mess they are making.

Yes the Clintons stripped the place and probably have the drapes, chairs; silverware, etc. all stored somewhere!

Obama made a blatantly sexist remark. He could have just as easily said that Hillary already knows where the pots and pans are to be found in the White House kitchen.
If Karl Rove had made the drapes remark, the MSM would have drilled him.
But since it is Obama, it is only a joke.
To those of us who know the true hatred between Obama and Hillary Clinton, this was a back-handed Hillary-slap. To the fawning media, it was a joke.
