Sources tell Fox News the terrorist chatter that U.S. intelligence analysts picked up in the past two weeks exceeding anything witnessed in the last decade, and prompting the closure of nearly two dozen U.S. embassies and consulates across the Arab and Muslim world included exhortations from al-Qaeda leader Ayman al-Zawahiri to key leaders of AQAP (al-Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula), demanding they step up their activities in the wake of recent killings of top terrorists.
A Mideast diplomat says al-Zawahiri has been pressuring AQAP, and that the pressure localized al-Qaeda figures have been subjected to, aimed at getting them to launch new terrorist attacks on Western and American targets, is unprecedented. This is what has led to the extraordinary volume of chatter picked up by U.S. signals intelligence following a period of months of absolute quietness on terrorist phone lines, computer outlets, websites, and the like.
Sources say al-Zawahiri has always been a bigger proponent than his predecessor, Usama bin-Laden, of a more centrally managed al-Qaeda terrorist structure, has always sought to micromanage AQAP, and is attempting now to assert management authority over individual cells, even if it is largely illusory.
Sources say the U.S. moves were also prompted by a spate of recent al-Qaeda-led prison breaks, including...

So we can conclude that there is no threat. Susan Rice... lol
What the?!?! Did someone make another %$#%$#%#@ video?
Benghazi Fried Rice
the real crime isn’t that they closed the embassies. it’s that they would have played “everything is fine. nothing to see here. move along” if there was an election around the corner.
Anytime they feel like wrecking havoc just pass the word around to cause a lot of “chatter” but don't be specific.
So this is Susan Rice’s idea — figures

She’s just trying out the power of her shiny new job.
He played golf for SEVEN HOURS yesterday with his “friends”.
This is probably al Qaeda’s Washington cell’s advisory to all other cells to better secure their communications.
What you have to keep in mind is that our CIA and NSA are terrible at analyzing threats.
They missed the Tet Offensive in the 1960’s. They missed the fall of the Berlin Wall. They missed both 9/11 attacks. They missed the Indian nuclear tests. They didn’t see the Soviet Union breaking up.
Right now, there have been major prison breaks in Iraq, Afghanistan, and Pakistan. There have been minor prison breaks in Libya.
...and someone has been bombing long-range missiles that have been attempted to be transferred out of Syria into Lebanon.
These events could *easily* all be related to the influx of terrorist chatter in that part of the world.
A massive bum rush on an Embassy is possible, of course, but more likely is that Al Qaeda hi-jacks an airliner or two and rams it/them (or long range missiles) into the Aswan High Dam in Egypt to spite the Egyptian Army and give the “go” signal to Morsi for his Muslim Brotherhood to expand Al Qaeda’s fight into Egypt.
Instead of closing all these embassies we should have dropped off a couple hundred heavily armed Marines and a big Welcome Sign: Ramadan 2013 beer fest and BBQ.. Jihadi’s welcomed.
Did a video spook her?
The al Qaeda Washington cell has a phone line leading right out of the Oval Orfice in the White Hut, where it is doing business.
Edward Snowden is one of the least significant of the leaks in comparison to what just gets casually passed off every day from that source.
The terrorists see a house of fools in charge of the US and will keep the threats up just to create a circus.
All theater, all lies, all the time.
I have reached my breaking point, wherein I no longer give a damn.
The greatest threat to our country are those that are running it. Everything else is deception and distraction.
