It is amnesty with or without a path to citizenship.

He has always been opposed to that, just like he has always decried people claiming to be political Independents.

The trouble is, the GOP does not even exhibit dominance when they own the Senate, the House and the Presidency. But all 3 keep moving leftward, just more slowly than the Dems.

What was the last 'movement to the right' exhibited by the Republicans?

Chief Justice Roberts? That seemed so, until he pretzeled a decision to approve Obamacare.

SCJ Alito? Recall that that came only after the near riots because of the Miers nomination.

The GOPelites keep moving leftward and there is nothing on the horizon to indicate they would change direction. So, how is conservatives staying in the party, but staying at the back and out of sight, ever going to change the GOP? It isn't. No more than the blue-dog Democrats have managed to push the Democratic Party to the right. What candidate that the GOPelites would push would move the party to the right? Jeb Bush? Chris Christie? Marco 'amnesty junior' Rubio? Paul 'amnesty junior too' Ryan?

Any legislation that allows the lawbreakers to stay and work here, the object of their crime, is amnesty. Citizenship is just the cherry on top. And the back of the line is in their home country, not here.

Due to the US unemployment crisis, my extreme positions on the alien invaders are:

1) A million a month go back, frig their circumstances.
2) Put a handsome bounty on them.
3) Employers face huge penalties for hiring scofflaw foreign nationals.
4) Semi-skilled jobs are returned to qualified US citizens, the unskilled jobs will be assigned to able-bodied "entitlement" parasites in return for their "benefits".

Regarding actual immigration reform:

1) Ska-rew family relationship immigration.
2) Allow only high-skilled or technical positions such as doctors and scientists.

Hiya AG....always love your quirky presence amongst us.

....read the thread and the article linked.

Hmmmmm. Don’t know what to say but will have to mull around for a bit.

Not sure what your Trayvon comment as relates to OBama means. Obama lived like Trayvon you say?

Hmmmmmmm.

Hiya TG....

....yeah, that comment was a sour note in the Rush interview.

I want to say....the longest journey in the world starts with a single step.

Some day, soon, unless the idealogy of the current Blue Blood GOP changes, we got to leave them.

Rush....he’s wrong on this.

I know he’s seldom wrong...the 97.2% thing, but he’s wrong on this.

Let those elected guys pass an immigration bill and see how quick a third party springs up in this country.

I believe this.

I’m probably wrong, but I still believe it.

O’Reilly Factor has been talking about improving conditions for poor black Americans for a week, but interesting enough he has on a gentleman who claims the lack of jobs are one reason things are so bad, unfortunately O’Reilly doesn’t follow-up...

We are not that dependent on ME oil. The top five exporting countries accounted for 72 percent of United States crude oil imports in May while the top ten sources accounted for approximately 92 percent of all U.S. crude oil imports. The top five sources of US crude oil imports for May were Canada (2,329 thousand barrels per day), Saudi Arabia (1,440 thousand barrels per day), Mexico (777 thousand barrels per day), Venezuela (674 thousand barrels per day) and Colombia (373 thousand barrels per day). The rest of the top ten sources, in order, were Kuwait (361 thousand barrels per day), Nigeria (345 thousand barrels per day), Iraq (321 thousand barrels per day), Angola (316 thousand barrels per day) and Ecuador (178 thousand barrels per day). Total crude oil imports averaged 7,737 thousand barrels per day in May, which is an increase of 11 thousand barrels per day from April 2013.

Oil is fungible. The US can become energy independent, but oil will remain vital to the global economy regardless. The ME, the greatest exporter of oil, will remain an extremely important region of the world for our strategic national interests.

I am all in favor of energy independence, which help our economy and balance of payments. It will also enhance national security. But it will not lessen our involvement in the ME.

Did anyone notice that when Obama went “on the stump” last week to shill for his “economic plan” he did his black speaking accent thing, but when he did the weekly radio message shilling for it he sounded like a white Illinois law professor. Evokes fond memories of Arafat in Arabic/Arafat in English.

Yuri taught them well.
_________________________________________________________

And the fact that Blacks fall for this is beyond sad. All Blacks care about is the color of Obama’s skin...nothing more.

Obama has nothing even remotely in common with blacks other than the color of his skin. Obama in fact has more in common with whites. Truth be told, Obama loathes blacks to the core. He is destroying them, and yet they cheer him on because of his skin color, and he can talk schuck & jive at black churches and NAACP meetings. I have no pity for blacks anymore. They have chosen to be forever victims. Let them wallow in the misery they've chosen.

And if they ‘go the back of the line after legal immigrants’ whose to say those in line don’t get citizenship immediately? And then all those illegal entrants can get theirs too.

There should be no citizenship granted for any illegal entry or overstayed-VISA into this country.

After I posted my commentary about Rush and a 3rd party, I should have added:

What is the definition of insanity? Doing the same thing, but expecting a different result.

Dole, McCain, Romney. Which would have moved the party toward the conservatives?

JBush, Christie, Rubio, Ryan. Which would move the party toward the conservatives?

I see the responses as None and None.

A conservative might long-shot slip in and win the primaries, but even if they did, they would be shackled by the GOPelites into naming a centrist/moderate as the VP. [Déjà vu]

Don’t doubt it at all. Just wish I could document it better, any suggestions?

It’s not easily documented. It’s more related to a pattern of behavior that you find recurrent today but with origins in the Red Horizons program of the 1960s, and the creation of Arafat and other influence ops in the KGB’s heyday, 1970s and 1980.

Read the Mitrokin files (KGB archives) and Red Horizons by Pacepa. Look at how the KGB created the legends of lies that made Arafat a “Palestinian” or how they created “atrocities” in Vietnam with the Winter Soldier active measure (with a Big Assist from John Kerry).

The Brotherhood was really borne of these tactics and techniques going all the way back to the anti-semetism of Hitler and even the Protocols of the Elders of Zion as crafted by the czar’s intel shop.

Ayman al Zawahiri runs al Qaeda today but served Andropov when he helped the Brothers kill Sadat (for 2 million dollars) before Carlos could.

People who have read Zawaheri’s captured memos have pretty much concluded he is a communist at heart (a pretend Muslim), unlike bin Laden (who operated more like a venture capitalist).

The creation of the “Palestinian movement” at Moscow Centre in the 1960s and 70s is the blueprint that still serves best in understanding what is going on today.

Even today’s Democrat party is seemingly an offspring of Andropov’s basic concept of how to convert America via incremental influence (Mao’s “long march” as adopted from Gramsci) and cults of personality (Obama!). Andropov used to chortle about what suckers Americans were for celebrities.

It is documented somewhere that in the 1970s Castro told Bernadine Dohrn to stop bombing police stations or the Pentagon and find a respectable black candidate for president who could “shame guilty white Americans” into voting for him. It’s documented that she came back from Cuba obsessed with finding a black president. (It’s online somewhere as part of the FBI surveillance reports on Dohrn. It’s a PDF.)

It took two decades but the discovery of Obama by Dohrn and Ayers is easily seen as a post-modern variation on the creation of Arafat by Moscow Centre in the 1960s.

There’s just way too much symmetry between the KGB of lore and today’s Arab terrorist groups and the far leftist groups (like the Democrats) that dominate western nations. It’s as if they all studied under the same master. And if it looks like a duck...

(Google Pacepa’s online articles and go from there. Everything the man has written is gold.)

About Obie's apparent love of golf...

Obie has always been about escaping from his real responsibilities of CIC.

Golf is but one of the ways he escapes. But in Obie's twisted little mind I think be really believes he is sticking his eye in whitey's eyes when the see a "black" man invading the white man's domain. (Yes, he is that twisted.)

It can’t be sustained. The politicians know that. There main objective is to keep kicking the can down the road. The only problem is that we are running out of road.

I agree. No one who broke our laws should be given citizenship or allowed to stay and work here. Unfortunately, the RINO’s and their Dem allies are preparing to shove this down our throats, which will destroy this country. Amnesty is forever.

The ME, the greatest exporter of oil, will remain an extremely important region of the world for our strategic national interests.

Maybe so, but if we have all this oil, why can't we put a tariff on imported petroleum and get rid of the income tax?

We need to return to the days of cheap abundant energy for the American people.

Who pays the tariff? And if we were energy independent, why would we be importing oil? Remember, the customer always pays for any taxes levied on the producer of goods and services. The costs of doing business are passed on to the buyer.
