Just call him lefty. If he blew his right hand off it still wouldn't wash with other Muslims. They justify collateral damage as being good if it's done in the name of jihad but there's some things even they won't try to justify. Losing a right hand for any reason is considered a judgment from Allah calling them a thief, ho matter how it happened.

Correct sir! I was waiting to see if anyone had corrected this misusage. “Workplace accident” is definitely the accepted term used here years ago when there was a spate of these incidents in Pali mosques in Gaza, IIRC.
