Time Warner Cable's blackout of CBS continued Saturday, and neither side indicated a resolution of their dispute over fees is imminent.
Time Warner dropped CBS Friday in New York, Los Angeles, Dallas and several other cities, leaving three million customers without the network's programs. The issue is fees that the cable company pays CBS to air its programs.
Each has accused the other of making unreasonable demands ...
The CBS stations that went dark are WCBS and WLNY in New York; KCBS and KCAL in Los Angeles; KTVT and KTXA in Dallas; WBZ and WSBK in Boston; KDKA, WPCW-CW in Pittsburgh; KCNC in Denver; WKBD-CW in Detroit and WBBM in Chicago.
About 2.5 million Time Warner Cable customers lost access to Showtime ...

Yep, Ronald Reagan!
Netflix. $8/mo. No ads.
Bingo! See no BS here.
isnt the use of the word..BLACK OUT just a BIT Inappropriate??
did I say BIT...oh Heavens that would be Black Infotainment Televsion wouldnt it!
Perhaps TIme Warner had BEST prepare an APOLOGY to Jesse jackson BEFORE the matter comes up.
I dropped cable a long time ago, couldn’t justify paying so much to watch the same commercials as on broadcast.
So change providers. Dish, DirecTV, Verizon, also on-line services. TWC is a loser in this fight since its not the only game in town.
If you have another provider, like DirectTV, but your internet provider is TW, CBS is blocking their web site from you. DT is backing TW in this. I believe they went through something similar last year. Guess we will see what happens.
I am NOT happy about missing Dexter this Sunday!!! :o(
WBBM in Chicago is still on the air?! WHO KNEW!!
Or just do what I did last August and put up an over-the-air antenna and get all the HD/Digital local stations FOR FREE. CBS is still and over-the-air station - you don't need Satellite (DirecTV) or cable (Comcrap) to receive it!
I have Hulu Plus and NetFlix to complement my FREE Over-The-Air TV and now spend $18/Mo. for movies and other entertainment via Roku and DUMPED my $100 plus DirecTV bill.
BTW: The picture quality of over-the-air HD TV far and away surpasses DirecTV and ComCrap's compressed digital signals.
Dumped DirecTV and haven't looked back. Never again will I pay for Cable/Satellite TV. F'em.
Neat, A media circular firing squad!
I am no fan of CBS but cable has become too big for its britches. The time for a la carte t.v. has arrived.
I bet most won’t notice CBS is missing from the lineup. I looked here at what I would miss ...surprised to find I wouldn’t miss anything. There is not one show I watch regularly. If the Movie Channel is part if the blackout, the I would miss that.
Where is Obama on this surely he will get involved and nationalize time Warner.
I’m most angry about losing Dexter with 7 episodes left. The only other channel I miss is the Smithsonian channel which has good shows on it.
