Whoever is responsible for this outlandish delay--and I am speaking as a Trial Lawyer--should themselves be investigated for possible prosecution, at the very least for obstructing justice. Instead of a deserved execution, they have made him a celebrity, untarnished even by a minor conviction!
To the prevaricating morons of the Obama Administration (and Mr.-Fifty-States-Stupid himself) this denouncing of U.S. citizenship is surely consistent with “Jihad” Hasan’s cowardly murder of unarmed people being merely “work place” violence.
So now he can be a resident of Gitmo. Sweet.

If a person renounces their citizenship, do they need a backup plan? Do they have to be a citizen somewhere else or can they be a free agent? Seems like travel would be limited without any passport from any country.
