Canada, Mexico become part of U.S. ‘homeland’ during NSA Senate briefing (NAU)

American reporters appropriately had a 'wait, what? moment' on Wednesday during a Senate Judiciary committee meeting.

Senator Diane Feinstein, the chair of the Senate Intelligence Committee, was defending the National Security Agency's top secret spying when she brought out a prop identifying North America — the United States, Canada and Mexico — as the "Homeland".

"You may also be surprised to learn that our homeland now includes both Mexico and Canada, two areas that we understood to be autonomous nations that are not part of the United States," noted the Atlantic Wire, the publication which first reported the unorthodox map.

Not only Canada and Mexico are included in this depiction of "the Homeland," but also most of what is considered Central America, i.e., Belize, Guatemala, Honduras, El Salvador and Nicaragua.

I wonder if anyone bothered to check with Daniel Ortega about Nicaragua's inclusion in the American "homeland."

This was the premise and promise of a North American Union.

So now that's a done deal too...

I'm sure he's no happier with it than most Canadians are, eh?

So when will learning French and Spanish become required starting in pre-school since we’re all now the “homeland?”

Guess that is why the border security is of no real concern to this administration. Obummer and crew have adopted the jamaican attitude of “no problem, mon!” to those illegals who keep pouring into the country from Mexico.

very interesting...

Welcome to Amexinada! Enjoy your stay under our watchful eye!

Seriously, these people already think in terms of global and regional govt. They do not operate in what we currently accept as reality.

By the way, that actually covers what is generally considered to be Central America too. It goes all the way down past the Panama Canal.

The US Northern Command covers the 3 nations plus 500 miles of ocean.

Northcom was created by a Bush EO.

Central And South America fall under the US Southern Command. See reply #11.

There is also US Central Command which covers the rest of the world like Iraq except there is also an Africa Command.

maybe obummer & crew are just mad about the increasing ads on TV for Americans to move to Belize, so they want to make everything be part of the homeland! :)
