Indeed, the Bank for International Settlements was so useful for the Nazis that Emil Puhl, the vice-president of the Reichsbank and BIS director, called the BIS the Reichsbanks only foreign branch.
The BISs reach and connections were so vital for Germany that all through the war, the Reichsbank paid interest on BIS loans. The BIS then paid dividends to shareholders including the Bank of England. Thus, through the BIS, the Reichsbank funded the British war economy.
Thomas McKittrick, an American banker, was president of the BIS. When the United States entered the war in December 1941, McKittrick kept the bank in business, thanks in part to Allen Dulles, the US spymaster based in Berne. McKittrick was an asset of Dulles, and frequently passed him information from Emil Puhl, who frequently visited Basel and often met McKittrick.
Under an intelligence operation known as the Harvard Plan, McKittrick contacted Nazi industrialists, working towards what US documents, dated February 1945, describe as a close cooperation between the Allied and German business world.
Thus while Allied soldiers fought Germans, McKittrick cut deals to keep the German economy strong -- with the full assistance of the State Department.
The Bank of England history disparages Harry Dexter White, a close ally of Treasury Secretary Henry Morgenthau. Morgenthau and White were the BISs most powerful enemies and lobbied hard at Bretton Woods in July 1944 to close the BIS.
The BIS remains very profitable. It has about 140 customers and made a tax-free profit of about £900 million last year. Every other month it hosts the Global Economy Meetings, where 60 of the most powerful central bankers, including Mark Carney, Governor of the Bank of England, meet. No details of meetings are released, even though the attendees are public servants, charged with managing national economies.

Another excerpt -- After the war, five BIS directors were tried for war crimes, including Reichsbank president Hjalmar Schacht. They dont hang bankers, Schacht supposedly said, and he was right he was acquitted.
War is good for business.
Business is good for war..............

I’m sure the British are going to return all the wealth they accumulated during the Empire period, starting with the crown jewels and the Elgin Marbles...
The Nazis were guilty of the very things they accused the Jews of.
