So I guess going to a New York McDonalds isnt a good idea right now.
Videographer and conservative blogger Adam Sharp of SharpElbows.net attended one such demonstration and interviewed an SEIU member, easily identifiable as such by his purple shirt.
When asked whether the union member supported the $15 per hour wage increase the McDonalds workers were demanding, he admitted, Im not sure.
He also said he was there to show his support for the workers rather than the company and expressed a fear that, if theyre [the McDonalds employees] pissed off, they could be doing something to that food.
So thats your main concern, is that if they dont get what they want, they might contaminate the food?
The SEIU member shrugged his shoulders and said, I dont know.
Video at the link.
Im not one who hates on McDonalds. You go there, you get what you want at a reasonable price and the product is consistent from coast to coast. Overseas, McDonalds

I wish there was a Chick-Fil-A around here but there is not.
In-n-Out is also good. Their employees speak English. Everything is clean. Food is fresh.
It’s also a Christian company.
someone needs to be hauled up short...and given the opportunity to lie to a Federal law enforcement officer...
.... SCOOTER LIBBY ALERT...
Had Chik-fil-a today for lunch.
Haven’t eaten at any other fast food place in decades.
If I worked at McDonalds I’d be very concerned. The SEIU thugs are not above poisoning people and blaming it on the McDonald workers.
Sounds like extortion to me. Historically, there's only one proven way to effectively deal with extortionists. If you give them what they want, they just come back waning more.
Something about killing the golden goose???
As long as CEOs get contracts that will protect them from being fired, every underling underpaid schmuck should have the same right to exactly the same protection. That should not negotiable IMHO.
I’ve never understood why CEOs get contractual protection when they run the company. If they run it into the ground they should get nothing. If they run it effectively they won’t be fired and they will be retained.
I do not understand why incompetent grossly overpaid CEOs are protected from being fired at will, while underpaid underlings are fired at will. Until the playing field is level I will frankly support the same right to workers.
anyone that does that would be fired and charged with assault for poisoning the food
you flip burgers. I did it. many people have, as its not difficult at all.
it’s not supposed to be a career.
you get paid so little as the supply of potential employees is VERY high as it’s not difficult and the manufacturing jobs have been shoved offshore... resulting in more people competing for that job
what to make more money? here’s the secret: learn a sought after skill that has some difficulty to master. this will put you in a smaller category of potential employees... radically increasing the offered wage
RICO, send them to jail.
never feed the beasts, you are correct
they’ll start hanging around the front door yammering and begging all the time...
like cats
Yep. SEIU and other unions have contaminated the world for years. What is next?
The age of consent in Mexico is 13..... The poor guy had too many beers after church and forgot where he was.../ S
When illegal Mexicans cross the border.... They also bring Mexican culture with them...
Sorry wrong thread... Duh...
I must agree and add this:
I’m 34 weeks pregnant with #3, and I snuck out a couple of days ago to do some back-to-school and baby shopping. I splurged on Chick Fil A. Not only did my order get filled promptly, as I was struggling out of the booth to throw away my trash the manager rushed over. He not only helped me up, but he also took my tray and disposed of the trash for me.
It’s not that big of a deal in the whole grand scheme of things, but it meant a lot to me. We’re not fast food eaters, we try to eat homemade whole foods, but Chick Fil A is our one splurge. I can support what they do even if it is only a few times a year!
Typical Obama voters.
These mensa candidates are going to be competing with this beast.

The good and bad news, bad first:
Due to safety concerns brought up by the unions, all minimum wage employees must be fired.
The good,
McDonalds is hiring.
Pizza Hut quietly got better when Dominos upped their game. Pizza Hutt retained the improvements. Dominos? Not so much...
When they got rid of the fries cooked in beef-fat, that did it for me.
