Black-riot prevention: Prudence or profiling?
WND ^ | 07/25/13 | Colin Flaherty

It seemed like a reasonable question: The AP reporter asked me if I thought the pundits and police overreacted to the Trayvon verdict when they predicted and prepared for riots, mayhem, lawlessness and all sorts of other black mob violence.

Toure and his crew on MSNBC thought so. He said anyone who anticipated violence was a racist, blah, blah, blah. The other panelists dutifully and mournfully nodded their head in agreement as they always do when Toure makes one of his pronouncements on pervasive and permanent racism.

Which is pretty much all the time.

Post-verdict, we saw some violence, with the worst in Oakland and Los Angeles. Like most black mob violence, police and media tried to pretend it was less than it was.

My favorite story was the L.A. news anchor introducing a riot. But before doing so, she stressed several times that the rally was peaceful, but a “few” people had gotten “rowdy” – the same word the Los Angeles Times used for another nasty bit of racial violence the following day.

I think a civil war is definitely possible, the country is breaking down so fast.

I’d prefer a 3rd war for independence -
I don’t really care to try to govern the feral population, just be separate from them.

Just like the Rodney King Riots.

Their “protest” game isnt OVER yet either. I dont have any details but Im old enough to know that the end game is a explosion of rage and the subsequent rioting within the ghetto and beyond

Indeed, not to mention - race will always be an issue. For a multitude of reasons but if for no other the power that comes with it. It amazes me how many whites think that racial nirvana will be reached. They act as if organizations like the Black Caucus or NAACP or just going to announce one day that they are disbanding.

“Toure and his crew on MSNBC thought so. He said anyone who anticipated violence was a racist, blah, blah, blah.”..

Tell that to the people around the country that got shot, assaulted, robbed and beaten by those “peaceful protestors” who were all Trayvon Martins.

If they want a revolution, bring it on. The time for “peaceful” has expired.

If you operate on the basis of past experience and data you are criticised for profiling. If you fail to operate based on past experience and data and something happens you are criticised for negligence and incompetence.

Fifty years ago police knew a riot was planned when the tops of buildings began to collect bottles, and rocks.
