Yup, that's the list. I don't mind when Rush talks about any of those things for a reasonable amount of time, but when he spends a majority of his show about those things, it is highly annoying to me (and a waste of my time to listen). Especially on a busy news day and/or a day with some pretty big breaking news.

Rush goes on ad nauseum about "hot women" lately, too. Not sure what's going on with that. You may want to make that #5 on your list. ;-)

I went to lunch with clients so missed most of the show so far. I returned from lunch about 1300 and as I was getting in the car Rush nailed it. He articulated a lot of what we, at least I, am thinking. He does that and that is why I listen. He grapples with things until he encapsulates them. What is it?

We live in a Banana Republic. We work up one day and it had happened overnight. The transformation has been so fast and so complete it begs to question how George Bush was ever elected in the first place. It has not been gradual. One day, like turning on a light switch, we were transformed. The old guard pubbies attack the new kids with more vengeance than they do the arch enemies or obastard. It is pretty clear whose side they are on. But why? Bought off? Threatened? Complicit? Co-conspirators? What? Why?

What has happened to us?

That's exactly what we've seen here in The People's Socialist Republik of Connecticut. LOTS of closed businesses, malls, and family-run stores and restaurants that have been in business for decades, etc. It's defintely getting worse.

Of course in Connecticut, it's not just the Obama Regime that's causing the damage, the one-party (democRAT) rule here is a major part of the problem as well.

People are leaving CT in droves... I hope my husband and I are among those droves someday. Unfortunately due to work commitments, we're stuck here for awhile.
