VIDEO footage from Pizzeria Mozza, which is located at Melrose and Highland, shows the final moments before journalist Michael Hastings' Mercedes Benz exploded into flames.

Interesting topics include brake lights (on/off?)
I lived in LA.
NOTHING MOVES in Los Angeles after approx 2:30AM. All bars are legally required to shut down at 2AM sharp, and they do.
The only things moving are the Hospital (sort of) and LAX (for early flights).
Look at a map -- Hastings was rushing due South, toward LAX at 4:30AM.
Sounds like he was indeed "going off the radar" by catching an outbound 6AM or 7AM flight, perhaps to Europe where he'd just contacted Wikileaks that day.
And just the other day some engineers showed how they could hack into a vehicle’s onboard computer and cause it to accelerate, apply brakes, even honk the horn. CIA/NSA hit?
...
Barry Soetoro said the same thing. But how do they know it was his car? It was moving way too fast to make a positive ID.
“But how do they know it was his car? It was moving way too fast to make a positive ID.”
Exactly. This whole thing stinks.
The odds of telling everybody “The FBI is after me, so I’m going off the radar....” THEN DYING in a fiery high-speed crash hours later while you’re speeding toward LAX.... are very remote.
Unless Obamatollah “helped.”
PING to the Chief Conspiracy Theoretician of History.
Yes, it was, but what other car(s) exploded that night?
If he knew his way around I seriously doubt he would be taking Highland south from Hollywood on his way to the Airport -- especially if he was in a hurry. He would have gotten on the 101 and taken it to the 110 which would drop him right at LAX -- moreover he could hit 80 or 90 on the freeway that time of night.
Here’s 24 minutes of raw footage (before/after) the crash from the freelance “news van” in the neighborhood.

Anything we can glean from this?
Can a vehicles computer system be remotely car hacked?

Scientists hack into cars’ computers — control brakes, engine.

I wonder what will come out at the Black Hat conference going on in Vegas now. They are paragons in the computer hacking business.
And he knew all that.
He could’ve been tripping his balls off on drugs while joy riding late at night. Anything is a possibility.
A commenter on Breitbart suggest his brakes lights were on, though I cannot tell. Anyway, that was one heck of an explosion.
