First Lady: Barack's Working to Free Americans from 'Any Form of Public Assistance'

In an e-mail to supporters, First Lady Michelle Obama says she grew up in a family that didn't need help from the government, and that her husband is working to make Americans free from dependence on government once again.

In her message sent yesterday from democratparty@democrats.org, Mrs. Obama says:

"When I was growing up, a family like mine -- living on my hard-working father's salary at the city water plant -- could build a solid life without much debt and without relying on any form of public assistance. Today, for too many families, that American promise is no longer within reach.

"Barack is working to fix that and he needs solid Democrats in Congress to help him."

I see this differently. She doesn’t for one second believe BHO is trying to get people off public assistance.However, she knows having you husband preside over a period were record number of people went on public assistance isn’t a positive selling point. Even most Democrats understand that. So, she is throwing that out there in hoping they believe it.

What’s confusing is why is she trying to convince people who will already pull the lever for the “D” no matter what?

..... The first lady is telegraphing the new strategy and narrative of the Democrat Party. They know the narrative that the GOP is going to use so they are using pre-emptive language to nullify the effect of GOP verbage going into the mid-terms. They have been constantly and successfully using this pre-emptive language throughout this Administrations terms in an effort to nullify or diminish the effect of any GOP verbage that is used and thus framing any argument to their advantage to the electorate.

.... It's quite simple really ...... The brain dead low information voter will simply realize that .... "Hey .... they said it first so they must know what they are doing!!!" Then when the debate begins between the Dems and Squishy Republicans ... the GOP will already be in the position of Defense..... the Libs will be in the position of Offense ..... at least in the psyche of the Low information crowd anyways.
