Proves the point he's naive..........
I have never heard that before. Never.
Whoever programs TOTUS is full of it.
Barry is America’s first and therefore, “historic”, Everybody Gets A Trophy president.
Naive? Or a carefully trained Leftist operative?
Yeah, sure. Tell that to my (now deceased) Army lifer uncle, whose job it was to escort the bodies home.
Again the jackass refused to place his hand over his heart during the National Anthem.....while all others on the stage did the right thing.
Idiocy reigns.
We are in a kakistocracy. Big time.
Certainly was, ...For International Communism.
He’s really upped the BS quotient to at minimum one a day now. The psychopath that he is, maybe the end is near.
“Kim Il Sung was inspired by our Founding Fathers.”
Stop it, Obama. The word “win” offends you and you know it.
Obama is an utter idiot, knows nothing of history. Despite pretending.
The Korea conflict was a failure, stemming from the Soviets trying to grab Japanese holdings away from the Americans in the last days of WWII. We blocked them from taking Japan, but did not push them out of Korea. Same against the Chinese later in what became the Korean War. It was and is a stalemate.
Not sure what everyone is so upset about. Obama is correct in this case. The Korean war was fought to keep the communists out of South Korea. We were successful in that effort. You can argue the merits of our war policy all day long but it was never our intention to drive the commies out of North Korea. I know MacArthur wanted to but Truman wouldn’t let him. So it was the policy of the US to fight a defensive action only.
Now Viet Nam...that’s another kettle of fish altogether....
It’s a win for Obama ,whens the people are divided
Stop listening to this guy and printing his crap. He’s just doing it to agitate us.
“No veteran should ever be overlooked.” He should be reminded of the four heroes in Benghazi.
Am I wrong or is a truce not a victory for either side? It means they are still at war but have decided to declare a truce.
On this one, I’ll cut Obama some slack.
I’m afraid how one regards the outcome of the Korean War depends on at what point you start “keeping score”: if you start when the Norks invaded the south, it was a very bloody draw, ending in essentially the status quo ante; if you start when the U.S. (and U.N.) intervened, it was a win, since we got the Norks out of the south.
The latter point of view is a bit insular, and accords with the strategically naive mental set that most American have, dividing all the engagements of WW III (a.k.a. the Cold War) into separate “wars”.
Let me again take the opportunity to thank all you FReepers who fought in WW III, whether your campaign was won, lost (always in Washington, rather than on the battlefield) or drawn.
Obama is on a roll this week in regards to history.
Whoever taught him history should be arrested.
We won in Korea?
Those Islamic railroads and our communist founding fathers made that possible!
hahaha
Well, SK has only had real "vibrant democracy" for less than a generation.
